This B&B was perfect for our one-night stay in Bilbao. Although our general preference is to be a little bit off the main drag, the location in the heart of the old town worked for us. We had an exterior room with a little balcony, which we did not use much except to check on the weather. We did not...

Very nice to stay in the old town and be able to have everything we wanted to see within walking distance. No problem arriving very late and getting in. Very caring and helpful staff. Good room and the most comfortable bed we have slept in in Spain. We took a taxi from the airport at 11pm, arrived within 20 min....

Clean, comfortable and perfectly positioned in the Old town which we found to be the heart of the Bilbao tapas and night scene. Very friendly owners, perfect instructions for late arrival. Not a swanky hotel and not trying to be, in offerings or price. Ideal for the non-pretentious traveller.

This is a lovely BnB in the pedestrian area of the old town and is convenient for those traveling by train or bus. Bilbao is also a beautiful city for walking and public transport and so Iturrienea makes a great base for exploring the city. Our room had a balcony over the street but at night the sound proofing is...

Through a heavy door on a cobbled street in the Old Quarter, into a dimly lit cobbled entrance and up a flight of stairs you will find this charming B&B. It's not for those who can't carry their own luggage up a flight of stairs but it has a fabulous position, comfortable rooms and amazing service. It's a lovely 20...

Friendly and helpful English speaking owners give good tourist advice. Simple but charming B and B The optional breakfasts are well worth the price, continental style but served at your table, lovely coffee. Ideal central location for the old town, literally steps away from shops, bars and restaurants but rooms very quiet.

While walking the Camino del Norte in April/May, we were fortunate enough to stay at Iturrienea Ostatua 3 times. This place is everything I would look for in a guest house. Super friendly and hospital staff and owners, comfortable, quiet rooms and sitting area where you feel like you are at home and a GREAT location in Casco Viejo (the...

Right in the middle of the old town can walk easily to Guggenheim, great restaurants and bars. We had room overlooking street, but the double glazing blocked noise completely when closed. Great modern bathroom with roomy shower, bright, clean and with very hospitable hosts. Hope to go back again

This is a small hotel/bed and breakfast in the Casco Viejo (the old town), among narrow characterful streets. It's one floor of an old building - you need to climb one flight of winding stairs, so won't necessarily suit someone who struggles with that - but is very clean, well kept, and with tremendously helpful staff in the form of...

We had a large 3 bed room on the front of the building. It was clean and quiet. The location is good for walking around the old center of the city and very close to the tram that takes you to the Guggenheim museum. The Wi Fi worked well. The breakfast was adequate. One of us needed to see a...
