A little out of the main town but an easy walk in or catch the bus. Even a taxi is only around 8 euro. Close to one of the main beaches. Clean, great bathroom, very very firm bed. Not cheap but due to the location, just across the road from the beach, you would expect the price. All amenities close... More

We thought this was the place to be. The beach is just across the road from the hotel. So its better to stay here and go into town than trek out of town to the beach with all your things. The beach is well kept and there are good facilities like showers, WCs and small snack bars where you can... More

We stayed in San Sebastian when Bruce Springsteen was in concert. All of the Hotels in the main area of town were either booked or ridiculously expensive. Due to a bit of perseverance we found the Galeria and I'm glad we did. Our stay was lovely, clean tidy rooms polite friendly staff and an overall good experience. Thank you to... More

Many people who come to San Sebastian try and stay as close as possible to the Old Town or as close to La Concha beach. Both of those options are quite expensive so if you don't mind a pleasant walk along the promenade you can find much better value in Ondaretta. Another bonus is the beach is much quieter. My... The location of the hotel is really great, 2 minutes walk to the beach, nice beach out of the touristy area but still within walking distance to the centre. The hotel got a nice rustic feel to it. Nice clean room but the walls are very thin so you could hear most things happening outside. I recommend it for a... More

We were happy with our room. Great location with a view of the ocean. Clean and comfortable. You can walk along the beach to the city centre where there is lots of shopping and restaurants. Be sure to check out the tapas restaurants as they are outstanding!

We had a wonderful visit to San Sebastian (Donostia) Spain and it was highlighted with our stay at the Hotel La Galeria. This was recommended by a friend and was well worth it! The hotel sits in a wonderful location along La Concha beach, which is a premier tourism beach in the summer. We were fortunate with excellent winter weather.... More

Excellent choice of hotel in San Sebastian, to be in a quiet part of town with one foot on the beach. Rooms are nicely sized, good bedding and friendly staff. We took our breakfast on the beach in a beach Chiringuito. The walk along the Cornisa is lovely, it took us 30-40 minutes to walk to the old quarter. The... More

A local friend recommended to book this hotel, the location is great, next to the beach, a bit far away from the old town, rooms are clean and comfortable and the price is right. Parking spots are limited, but the hotel manages this with the Spanish flexibility,
