My two kids were ill during our stay with a stomach bug and they looked after them with special meals as well as if we had been at home. They cooked rice, broth, special tea, all kinds of attention. They couldn't have been more caring Alejandra

Old but neat hotel overlooking the Bay of Biscay. Cool, brisk mornings expected this time of year. Slept with windows cracked open, wonderful to hear the waves outside. The boardwalk outside of the hotel, around the Bay, provided for morning/evening walk/run/stroll alongside the local residents. Parking near the hotel is challenging, as in most European cities, but the hotel does...

We had 2 rooms that have sea views. With the door to the balcony opened, we had unblocked views of the entire La Chocha Beach and we could clearly hear the wonderful sounds of the waves coming into the bay. The hotel was clean and comfortable, one could easy over-slept! During the cooling months of the year, inclining down the...

Not a good welcome when it is bucketing down rain and there is no where to park the car at the door unless you park on the foot path. No door man/ porter to help with 4 pieces of luggage. Then soaking wet had to struggle through 2 sets of doors to get to front desk. No one offered any...

We have stayed at this hotel several times, and the view from a Sea View Room, particularly from a high floor (we were in Room 53 this time, on the 5th Floor) cannot be bettered, probably in the whole of the La Concha area. It is only a short walk into the old town or shopping area from here, and...

This hotel is a blast from the past. From the old Otis style elevator to the antique furniture, Hotel Niza embraces its Belle Epoque bones. Tip: Wifi gets weaker the higher up your room is. Take a trip down to Narru for excellent food and a strong signal. Don't expect a lot of modern comforts. Just fall for San Sebastian...

I have stayed on many occasions at this hotel. It is not luxury, but it is near that, and its location is close to the seventh ring of Heaven. If you have coffee or fancier food here, you look out onto one of Europe's beautiful beaches (without getting sand between your toes). Such a bargain for what you are getting...and...

OK the room was miniature, the WiFi sucked and it had twin beds but OMG the view, the location, the breakfast and the totally cool elevator...you gotta give it a try. This is a town that cannot be overlooked and this is a nice place to stay.

Had a beautiful stay right in the heart of the beach scene. We enjoyed the gracious paseo each evening on the boardwalk just outside the hotel. This old but charming hotel had comfortable, clean, large rooms and a lovely little cafe where we enjoyed breakfast. Plenty of other dining options within a short walk. One of the desk staff members...
