We loved this small hotel. The owners are very nice and helpful people. The rooms are beautifully furnished. The buffet breakfasts are nicely presented in a light room or can be taken outside. The wifi is good. We recommend this as a great place to stay in Santa de la Cruz.

You need to book well in advance to get a room at this hotel because it is the best in Santa Cruz. Bernard and Richard and all their staff are charming and extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is exquisitely furnished and immaculately clean. We had a room in the 300 year old part with a beautiful wooden ceiling, a...

This is a well established hotel which has been tastefully refurbished. With only 8 rooms, the experienced owners Bernard and Richard, are able to lavish personal attention, particularly at breakfast where excellent coffee is produced to order. They are multilingual, personable and very knowledgeable - particularly with respect to local restaurants. The bedroom and public areas are quiet, thoughtfully designed...

Sometimes everything falls into place and you have a perfect experience. We decided to spend 3 nights at Hotel San Telmo in Santa Cruz De la Palma, which is close to the airport. The next 3 nights were spent at their partner hotel in Los Llanos de Ariadne on the opposite side of the island, Hotel Benehoare. We returned to...

We had a very comfortable stay here, albeit short (three nights). It's clean, cosy, friendly, nice rooms, cute patio. The owner and his employee were so friendly, we felt right at home! The breakfast buffet was well supplied, with lots of different sorts of cheese, eggs (which the owner would sometimes cook himself, after asking how you prefer them!), good...

Bernard and Richard were very hospitable hosts for our 3 nights in Santa Cruz de La Palma. The small hotel is located in an older section of the city, with easy walking to sights and restaurants. We enjoyed two afternoon meals at the Cinnabon Bar just a few steps from the hotel. Considerable variety in food choices at breakfast at...

Hotel – La Palma Perfect location for the capitals restaurants, bars and shopping! It’s about 10 mins max to the very furthest end of the main road but the slopes are steep if you are unfit, lots of steps and cobbled streets. Very clean such a pretty terrace and roof terrace, and nice sized room. The hotel is simple but...

I wanted to do some hiking on the island of La Palma and used the Hotel San Telmo as my base for 10 nights. Even though its centrally located in the capital, it is very quiet and the surrounding streets are very calm. Its limited size (8 rooms) and the friendly and cosy atmosphere created by the owners who are...

We stayed in this small and absolutely quiet and comfortable hotel again for the Opera season and enjoyed every moment of it. From the absolutely friendly staff and owners, to all the services offered that make your day, like selected island wines chilled in the hotel fridge where guest can take a bottle and enjoy after the concert or opera,...

We stayed for a week and enjoyed the time there (an on the island) a lot!! We had a room in the ground floor which was nicely lit by the morning sun! We can absolutely recommend the breakfast: no processed food, just fresh stuff like orange juice, coffee from an Italian Espresso machine, avocados, fruits, cheese and local artisan jams....
