The hotel was in the best location, we easily walked to everything in the area with amazing views all around. The room had everything we needed including a stocked fridge to purchase items and 3 bottles of water were provided. We stayed in the room in the atrium which had beautiful plants even in the winter.

We stayed here as a couple for 4 nights. The room was very clean and comfortable. The cups for the tea were very small but we asked at reception and were were given bigger ones from the breakfast room that we could use in the room. The breakfast was very nice with hot and cold food and plenty of cakes. The reception staff were very helpful and cheerful. Good location for sightseeing. Would stay here again .

The Pintor El Greco hotel in Toledo is an absolute gem. It’s a in a great location, right next to Sthe El Greco hotel, and within easy walking distance of stunning views and historical attractions. The hotel is in an old building and it retains many of its original charming features, whilst still contriving to offer all the comforts you would expect to find in a modern hotel. One thing to note is that our room didn't have much natural light as the window was small and set high up in the wall. As it's an old building and this was part of its features this didn't trouble us, but it might not suit everyone

The staff were extremely welcoming and couldn’t have been more helpful. An added bonus is that the hotel offers two dining choices – there is an excellent Osteria for casual dining as well as a fine dining experience with chef Victor Sanchez Beato. I was only staying in the hotel for one night, so didn’t have time for the dining experience, but I did have lunch in the Osteria and I thought the food was very good indeed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Pintor El Greco and I would certainly book there again if I visit Toledo in future.

This experience was like camping underground......one tiny window that looked out into a dark courtyard. There was no roof and it rained the night we were there, so the dampness permeated our room and made it uncomfortable for sleeping.

There were no restaurants in the area and everything closed down early making it impossible to find a place to eat. The front desk was of no help in guiding us to a food establishment but did off unappealing ready-made sandwiches in their basement food quarter.

A buffet breakfast was served in their basement.

The only highlight of this hotel was it's proximity to the El Greco Museum which is said to occupy the area on which El Greco's home once stood.

We would not stay there again.

Dear Bernard and Valeries, we are very sorry for these inconveniences In the area there are more than 20 bars and restaurants and it is easy to find As you can see in the rest of the reviews, our staff is the most qualified in help and kindness, just as the rest of opinions differ greatly from what you comment Obviously we have many types of rooms from Economica (the one you chose) to Superior, Deluxe, Jacuzzi, Suite ,and cave. For your next visit to Toledo at Hotel Pintor el Greco you can visit our website, where you will always find the best price available in these types of rooms. The buffet breakfast is served in the area of a privileged lounge of the fifteenth century We hope you will be encouraged to visit Toledo on another occasion and we will be able to get you excited about our new restaurant that we open within 20 days.

What a lovely hotel! In a quiet spot of Toledo, across from a park with great views, the hotel is beautifully appointed. Our room was quite large, with a couch and seating area, a balcony overlooking the tiled roofs, a clean bathroom with moorish tiles, great shower. We even got a complimentary bottle of wine. The staff are very congenial, whether bilingual or not. The front desk was helpful when our electronic keys were not working. The breakfast buffet is complete with everything you would want, and they also make eggs to order, which were delicious. Everything good here.

Reception staff on arrival were excellent. Room was small but we did not plan to spend a lot of time in the room. However the bed was very very hard - too hard for us even though we have a firm mattress at home. Also we had booked a double room and what we were given was a twin room with the beds pushed together....not great on a wedding anniversary trip. Be aware that at the end of September the bar was not open every day. We arrived on a Monday and the bar was not open until Wednesday. That meant that there was nowhere in the hotel to get even a good cup of coffee later in the afternoon. I apprecaite that even when the bar was open it was very very quiet. Similarly the hotel restaurant was not open every day. Breakfast was excellent - buffet style - with freshly squeezed orange juice. The hotel advertised lactose free / dairy free items but they were not clearly labelled / out on display.

The Director of the hotel, Miguel Ángel Molina Quiros went out of his way to ensure our stay was all we wished for. The hotel is beautiful inside, great care was taken to preserve so much of the original building, which I believe was a bakery. The bed was very comfortable, and the windows have shutters to really keep the light out. Breakfast was excellent with a wide array of food. The hotel is located very near some beautiful Toledo landmarks. There is an excellent Italian restaurant on the premises, and as an added bonus, this is a peaceful location at night. Thanks again Miguel for making our stay 10 out of 10!

First stop on our Discovery of Artistic and Spiritual Treasures in Spain is Toledo. Wonderful day tours to the El Greco Museum, Cathedral and Monasteries. Love the staff, service and rooms at the Sercotel Hotel Pintor el Greco. Chef Sergio provides incredible breakfasts and his Spanish Tortilla is the best ever!

We were very pleased with our choice of hotel in Toledo. Friendly staff, excellent breakfasts, comfortable room and a lovely building. Located on the edge of the Jewish quarter, it was well located to access the historic city centre.

Is there secure car parking at the hotel?
Toledo, Spain32 contributions
Our parking is located just in front of the Hotel entrance and can be reserved for 23€ per night. It is very convenient for our guests as you can let the car in and then just go walking from the Hotel to discover the city. When you arrive to our Hotel you can first park just in front for 15mn, the time to make the check-in and for Reception to give you your space number in the garage. Do not hesitate to contact with us if you have any more question. Michaël, Front Desk Manager.
