Stayed for 3 nights in September. We had a superior room which had a balcony where we could sit and enjoy the amazing view of Toledo. The buildings look fantastic catching the sun by day and are lit at night. Fantastic. Food was always good and we had excellent recommendations for wine which we enjoyed immensely. A lovely swimming pool was a great place to chill at the end of the afternoon. We used taxis to get in and out of the historic town. Around 20 euros for a return trip. There are no restaurants near to the Parador so we elected for half board which was a good decision.

The winding drive up to the Parador and the entrance exudes exclusivity and gives you that feeling that you have arrived somewhere really special. Reception was friendly and efficient and gave us all the local information we needed. The lobby is tastefully furnished and your eyes are drawn to the terrace overlooking that glorious view of Toledo.
Our room couldn’t have been further away (116) and involved a lot of walking. The room was immaculately clean, bed very comfortable and gorgeous bathroom with bidet. We were pleased to have an outdoor patio where we could sit and enjoy the garden, pool and do some birdwatching. ( I spotted a Tree Creeper and Greenfinches.) We spent 3 nights here with 2 dinners.

One or two of the waitresses in the breakfast room are a bit brusque. My husband was taking a photo on the terrace in the morning at 9am and was shouted at, she said they were washing the floor, we watched after he took the photo and nobody was washing the floor!
What a disrespectful way to speak to guests. Also doors giving access to the terrace were locked on one morning when I went down early before 9am. That view is what we are paying money for.
The dining room is handsomely furnished with peacock green chairs that look gorgeous. Glorious views from the large picture windows. We had 2 evening meals We were a bit disappointed with the quality and quantity of the breakfasts. Some meals are misleading on the menu. My husband was very disappointed with his starter, which cost a fortune ( about £16) and consisted of 12 round croquettes and nothing else. The menu said Venison, it turned out to be a kind of mushy purée inside the croquettes. My cod was over cooked. Turmeric potatoes looked nice but no flavour. We paid about £90 and yet they charge for an extra bread roll and the bread wasn’t even that good.

Facing the city of Toledo, the parador provides magnificent views. The staff at the reception and restaurant is helpful and the food excellent.
The utmost pleasure is the outside free parking. One way to the old city of Toledo costs no more than 7-8 euros and saves the headache of finding a parking spot within the walls.

We are generally fairly budget-conscious travelers but wanted to stay somewhere a little nicer while in Toledo. We opted for the Parador and we’re not disappointed. The views are incredible. Definitely book a city view room if it’s within your budget and you can enjoy drinks on your balcony. Our room had two single beds pushed together (not sure if that is common at this hotel) each with separate bedding which we thought was a bit strange but ended up having a great sleep with no disturbance from one another! There’s also a great view from the terrace of the hotel bar. We had a couple of glasses of wine there in the afternoon. We opted to have dinner at the hotel (loved the cheese plate, but very limited vegetarian options) and breakfast in the morning which is buffet-style. We took the bus to and from the hotel which was easy (~10 min) and 1.40 euro per person. Bus stop is at the end of the driveway of the hotel so about a 2 min walk.

Hôtel is not in the city center but outside with the best view on Toledo. Downside is that you definitely need a car to get there and also when you want to visit the town or find a restaurant for dinner (you can also eat at the hotel, there is a restaurant and a cheaper option at the bar/ cafeteria). Parking is free in front of the hotel but was full when we arrived - the receptionist helped us find a space.
This is a very big hotel with a lot of people / rooms so don’t expect something cosy.
Staff is very efficient and professional - we found a hornets nest when coming into our room and they immediately changed us room.
Room was very nice with a big terrace (superior room) and an amazing view on Toledo.
They also have a nice pool which is great in summer (have to book a 2h slot at reception when checking in).
Good breakfast, lots of choice, very nice staff.
Overall a very good hotel that we definitely recommend, in particular for the view (book the superior rooms).

The hotel accomodations were fine, but our experience there was ruined by being brushed off when our rental car was damaged in their parking lot. Someone backed into it and took off. When I found the damage and showed it to one of the staff, I was told there was a security camera. When I saw the security camera screen at reception, I noticed that, coincidentally, it was aimed such that the back of my car was visible from above. The camera would catch anyone backing into the car. After multiple attempts to get the video feed, I was first told that they couldn't give it to me -- just the rental car company. I passed that info along and was told by the rental car company that the hotel said they would only give it to me!!!! Another effort to get it from the hotel. I was stalled and finally told it showed nothing. That was impossible as the camera was aimed perfectly to catch the errant driver. I will never stay at that hotel again and encourage others to be wary of false claims of customer service.

Of course, their response to my complaint was, in part, that they cannot "provide the images without complying with the relevant legal process. We tried to help you but unfortunately, due to the location of the camera at our parking, we could not provide any useful images for you."

That makes three different, totally contradictory excuses why they did not provide the video of the incident. I believe they just did not want to get involved. My advice to all is to find another hotel in Toledo. There are many nice ones that truly put the customery first.

This is a gorgeous hotel with almost certainly the best view in Toledo. It sits on a bluff overlooking the old city and I believe all rooms are on the city view side of the building. Room was spacious; massive by European standards. Bathroom had a combo shower/bath, toilet and bidet, two sinks, blow dryer. Room had a couch and two beds side-by-side, tv with free wifi instructions (and remote in sanitized bag), desk, mini bar refrigerator, mini safe. A hot water maker was provided with tea bags or instant coffee. Large and spacious tiled lobby is nice. Dinner restaurant was outstanding, but note first seating is not until 8:30pm (standard in Europe but late for us Americans). My only complaint is there was some noise from the bar/cafe area directly underneath my room (it came through the door which needs better sealing). In spite of this it is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in and would be my choice if I ever return.

We spent one night in a standard room located on the lower level facing the pool in the back. The room was very comfortable with a double bed, closet with many hangers, safe, bed tables, two easy chairs and round table, desk with chair, and long stool at the end of the bed for luggage. Very good wifi. Quiet. Great shower. We had a drink on the terrace overlooking Toledo -- fabulous view. Easy to find using GPS out of Toledo with parking in the front. We did not have dinner or breakfast there. Highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel with gorgeous views over Toledo. Premium room has the same breath taking view as the restaurant or bar, where you can enjoy the Sun setting over this gorgeous town. Very large swimming pool in a lush garden. Very well prepared negroni in the bar. Good bed. Very clean and friendly. Excellent breakfast. Free parking at the hotel (you need your own car or a taxi to get there). Actually a close to perfect stay.

Unless you don't have a car that is. Magnificent view of Toledo from the terrace. A bit of a tortuous route from the city but worth it. The hotel itself is of a good quality, and the covid precautions were very cautious. Good sized rooms and a good breakfast. Being as it is remote, it was also quiet. One note of caution though - we were offered a complimentary drink, but if this happens to you read the small print CAREFULLY as it is only a glass of local wine or a beer/soft drink. We showed the card to the waiter and ordered 2 G&Ts but the waiter said nothing.................. That apart we would stay here again.
