This hotel is on the outside areas of Toledo – you need a car to get to the centre (I read there is also a shuttle, but this was not mentioned to us, nor did we see any info on this). The hotel looked a empty, the parking was very empty, the bar/restaurant area was very empty,… Checking in was smooth, and the room was very nice: it was big, clean, with a good bed and very nice bath room.
We wanted to eat something, but this was only possible in the bar area, one that looks very stylish with a color glass ceiling. The menu is very limited, but the food was good, prices reasonable.
Breakfast was very nice, plenty of items to choose from, with a lot of attention to Covid (masks required, you have your own ‘device’ to grab the food, and they monitor this very closely too.
Would I recommend this place? If you like a big room, and don’t mind you are not in walking distance of the town: for sure!

We stayed 19 & 20th. Jan. 20 and were pleased with our spacious room( #126) and the good service from the staff. The shuttle service to town is an asset. Need to reserve the moment you check in. The only disadvantage was the restaurant , absolutely unworthy for a 5star hotel. We dined on the day of arrival and the food was of poor quality , service mediocre and price too high. That needs to be addressed!
Parking underneath at reasonable price @ € 10 per day.

Well the hotel is basically fine but we had some issues. We had a delux room which was very large. Bathroom was also large but somewhat dated. Common areas and breakfast fine. During our stay keys did not work 2 of 4 days, power died in our room only one day, safe would not open and it took a maintenance visit to open it, on day 4 the main pool was milky green and the room air conditioning was marginal the whole stay. It only became tolerable when the staff selected ac dial positions that clearly said don't use? Maintenance does not appear to be at the 5 star level. Underground hotel parking at 11E /day.

I booked this hotel because reviews stated it had a free shuttle bus to the Centro Historico. It doesn't since covid. The hotel itself is very corporate. Maybe a good choice if you are travelling with a large group or a bus tour. But lacks charm, location, and trained staff if you are a solo traveler. It had those long, aimless "The Shining" corridors decorated with the same faux marble bust at each corner. The had what looked like "evidence tape" across all of the clean rooms that said "clean and safe". The hotel did look clean.
The room we stayed in was strange. All the drawers of the bedside tables and desk with glued shut with false fronts. The thing that most concerned me was that the room was designed to accommodate a handicapped guest. But neither of the telephones worked. I reported it to the front desk (well, I couldn't phone, could I?) They couldn't do anything.
The strangeness continued with the staff, who seemed super friendly but quite unable to help. The front desk clerk was confused when I asked for the concierge had no idea what a concierge was. This was surprising because I had asked the hotel a question before I arrived and it was signed by "The concierge".
After several frustrating attempts to get things done, we decided to just go sit on the terrace and enjoy a drink and a lovely view of Toledo. We were told that we couldn't because the terrace was closed. This was probably for a function, so no big deal. We would just go up to our room and had a drink out of the mini bar. We pulled out a half bottle of wine. It had a cork. There was no corkscrew.

This is truly a wonderful, one of the best we've ever visited. We truly appreciated the interior design, architecture, comfort and luxury of this 5-star hotel with a very friendly staff. Breakfast were delicious as was the many meals we had during our 4-night stay. Parking was a breeze, and the location is ideal to take an Uber to the train station for a day trip to Madrid as well as a nice day trip to Avila by car.

It is interesting the reviews and no response from corporate or management. Bottom line, this hotel is set up for tours groups (buses) and business meetings. The average traveler is of little concern. I would not rate this property 5 star. First, no porters or anyone to assist with luggage. No concierge. No shuttle as others mentioned and it is not a walkable distance. Car ride was 10 mins. Several of our soap dispensers were low or out and even after removing lids they still didn’t fill them. Room service limited. Limited toiletries (shower cap, comb, toothbrush). No USB ports. All what I expect in a 5 star.

Our room was nice and large and I did use spa for massage which was enjoyable and reasonable. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good, but as other travelers described, if you speak English most of the staff here avoid you. Underground parking is nice and plentiful. We opted for taxis into old town due to parking and excess walking.

Go for a night or two but that would be it. There is a burger king within walking distance, gas station and an Aldi grocery store opening Nov 2023.

This is our third stay at this hotel. We planned this break to take in the festive ambience of the hotel just before Christmas and to celebrate my birthday. Upon arrival we were checked in quickly and were more than happy with our room 127. Previously we had stayed in one of the Junior Suites with a patio garden and we were worried the room might seem small however, it was a good size and nicely equipped. The staff in the hotel were pleasant and helpful as usual. Breakfast was good with sufficient choice for us. Car parking facilities are good and the gardens are very nice. As for the festive decor this was minimal to say the least. The tree and the nativity scene were removed on our second day to accommodate a TV production team to film a period drama. This resulted in the beautiful lobby bar area being inaccessible to guests for the whole of one day until 9pm at night. Most of the previous day this area was noisy and not really conducive to relaxation. One evening a dance scene was filmed in this area. We returned from a trip into town that evening around 7pm and were hoping to have a drink in the Lobby Bar. This was not possible due to the filming. I asked at reception what provisions there were for guests who wanted to have a drink. I was offered that we could have one in our room, or wait till 9pm when filming would be over. Neither of these options suited. We could make a drink in our room anytime we wanted. The assistant manager interjected and suggested she could arrange to have a table set up in a side room and we could have a drink there. Whilst this was a kind offer we declined as we didn’t fancy being pushed into a room somewhere on our own. Whilst having the film crew on site was interesting and exciting it did at times detract from our enjoyment during our stay. I do feel that the other guests comfort was sacrificed to accommodate the film crew to some extent and we may have chosen not stay here on those dates if we had known in advance that the beautiful Lobby Bar would not be available for us to use.

This hotel is simply magnificent! The entire stay was faultless, from the checkin to check out, the staff couldn’t have made our stay any better. We enjoyed all the facilities of the hotel from the breakfast through to dinner with a trip to the spa in between! My wife is vegan and quite often finds it difficult to be accommodated in northern Spain, but whilst the menu was limited for her, the staff went out of their way to help.

Can’t wait to come back!!

If you're driving you may want to stay outside the walls of Toledo. But this may mean a corporate feel (and indeed conferences in progress). On the other hand the good thing is efficient service, oversized rooms and everything is - well - easy. No complaints. Big beds, everything worked as it should

We happened upon this hotel when visiting Toledo. Our travels throughout the week led us back by way of Toledo and we simply could not wait to return to this beautiful hotel. Staff is courteous and helpful. Rooms are stunning, spacious and comfortable and the atmosphere is serene and calming. Anticipating our return. Would not stay anywhere else.
