The joint is opposite the bus station in the dreariest section of the dreariest town. It sounds as if it is a country retreat in fact is the end of Iberia and that says something. for its style and comfort it is expensive and really there is no reason other than a love of agony ever to go there.

I stayed there for one night in May while travelling through Spain to Portugal. The surrounding plains are beautiful - long straight roads, little traffic and lovely views. A great find, about 30 klms SW of Leon, in a pretty (but unobtrusive) village devoid of tourists. Quiet, very clean hotel with very friendly and helpful hosts.
