We were reaching Salamanca at 10.30pm and emailed the hotel to let them know and they replied reassuring me that there is a 24 hour reception which was very nice of them.
Location was great as we wanted to walk around the old town, only the Roman bridge to cross.
The price (room only) wad very good for the 4 star hotel it is. We paid 10 euro each for a buffet breakfast, where there was quite a lot of choice - I loved the pan con tomate (bread with olive oil and tomato which is a typical spanish thing!).
The room as super clean and big, bathroom well equiped.
Staff was friendly, professional and helpful.
We will not hesitate to come back on our next visit!

The hotel is located near the bridge to the old town, easy walk and stunning views. Parking for 11 euros is secure underground or free on the nearby street. We had a terrace and good view of the cathedral, the double bed was two singles pushed together but comfortable, though the pillows weren't great. Staff very helpful, room clean, good shower, all in all solid performance.

This hotel is wonderful and budget friendly. We were driving so were looking for somewhere easy to get to, that had parking and close enough to the historic district to walk to.
This hotel ticks all the boxes AND we had a lovely, big, comfortable, quiet old fashioned room.
We parked on the street but had we needed it there is secure hotel parking for a small fee.
The staff are charming and there’s a nice little bar for a nightcap or coffee. Breakfast was perfectly good and set us up for the day.

This friendly hotel is perfectly located for the old town and has a brilliant secure parking garage which we used for 11 Euro a night.

Rooms are spacious but very dated. However, look beyond the decor and the fittings are quality. Beds super comfy. Good shower. Mini fridge. Broken WiFi. Strangely our room did not get cleaned as we didn't leave until 11am, instead there was a printed note from the cleaner saying they finish at 2pm and could not wait.

Unfortunately it was just too hot for us as the aircon could barely cope with summer temperatures. Road could be a little noisy. Probably a great stay outside of peak season.

Good things:
The hotel has a pool.
The room was clean and confortable.
The location is great. We can visit all the city on foot from the hotel.
Bad things:
The mini fridge doesn't work correctly.
During the night the hotel is a little bit noisy and there's a humming sound from the electrical panel inside the room 🤔

On the way to or from Santander Salamanca is a good stopover. About half way from where we live in Portugal.
We have stayed now several times at this hotel and have been very happy on each occassion.
Just a short walk across the old Roman bridge and you have the whole of Salamanca at your feet. An aboudance of restaurants in town. Have a beer by the main dquare.
Coming from Santander don't take the first entrance into Salamanca as you have to drive right across town. Take the WEST entrance and it is an easy drive to the hotel.
Only drawback is the the ramp entrance to/from the garage is very steep and with a laden car not easy. Also the door closes very quickly!

My Husband and I stayed in this hotel on our way to Portugal. The hotel is located beside the bridge into the old town 2 minutes walk. The rooms were old spanish style with comfortable beds. The breakfast was fantastic and very good value with a huge selection, both hot and cold buffet. I would recommend this hotel. There is an underground parking garage with a charge and parking on the street outside for free also.

Located on the outskirts of the city with views of the cathedral - especially spectacular at night. A very clean and spacious hotel with great staff - all very helpful, offering a better than average breakfast. The city itself a short (10 minutes) walk away is fabulous with many many restaurants and bars offering a very wide variety of food. Good shopping and generally a comfortable and safe place to spend a few days.

A really good hotel to use just a short walk over the Roman Bridge to the delightful sights of Salamanca. We often use this hotel as an overnight stop off on a journey between Santander and the Algarve. It has a secure car park (additional charge), the rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff very helpful and friendly.

When we checked into our room it hadn't been cleaned properly, the carpet didnt look like it had seen a vacum cleaner in a week! the mirrored wardrobes were full of finger prints, there were dirty tissues under the bed and even a shopping receipt at the end of the bed, even worse on closer inspection after pulling back the bed covers there were black hairs all over the pillow and on the sheets!! Eeek!! when we complained they were very apologetic and moved us to a tiny double room but it was the only remaining room left as the hotel was full, they did promise that the following morning we would be put into a nice room!!
True to their word we were moved to a lovely big room with a jacuzzi bath that made up for the initial disappointment..
The hotel is in a good position as it is just a nice walk across the bridge into Salamanca in the day and again in the evening, abit of a steep climb up into the centre but not a problem at all!!
We chose the hotel also because it had a pool but it doesnt actually get the sun for very long on the pool area due to the position of it within the walls of the hotel, hence the pool was rather cool even in August!!
We didnt eat at the hotel nor did we have breakfast there, we thought there would be alittle bar or shop etc but unfortuntaley there are no facilities around the hotel.
Salamanca itself is very pretty and we would recommend a visit, we found it to be reasonably priced for food and drink compared to Madrid prices, we got the train from Charmartin station in Madrid to Salamanca of which was incredibly easy and took approx 2&1//2 hours..
