Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It's our first time in this hotel and we've already decided that it won't be the last. Everybody at the hotel was very kind and friendly: at the reception desk, the cafeteria, the restaurant and even at the pool.

We ate lunch and dinner there and we can say that the food was very good. It is a good idea to make a reservation in advance because short time after we started eating, all the tables were taken.

If you want to visit Salamanca, you need to drive a few minutes to reach the town but it's not too long. The hotel is located in a quiet area so there won't be any traffic noise to disturb your sleep.

As I said before, I'm coming back to this hotel in my future visits to Salamanca.

Really big site next to a very nice hotel. Our site was huge. We didn’t need to book. The facilities included a wash for the motorhome - with cleaning fluid and brush! Very large toilet block which was very impressive. Limited shop but bread ordered each morning. Great access to Salamanca which is gorgeous

The hotel is not located in Zamora, but in the surroundings. There is a bus service at the door to the city, but we didn't use it because we had a car.
Parking is free and very large.
There's practically nothing near.
The building is very large, and the rooms are quite spacious. Unfortunately it had a strange smell, which we could not understand its origin. The decoration is similar to medieval times, which ends up giving it a heavy look.
Breakfast had little variety, but everything basic was available.
The best thing is the pool, which is huge (30 meters!!!!) and has another one dedicated to children, which we didn't use. The surrounding space is also pleasant with a good lawn and shade from trees, which allows for a very pleasant pool day even with a lot of heat.

Only stayed for one night as part of a tour group. It has character, with a lovely room and balcony. Sadly the nice looking pool was shut (it's winter in September!). Dinner was a little strange - huge lasagne as starter (very nice), pork with whole baked apples (also nice if a bit off), then a bowl of custard. No choice, presumably as we were a group. Good breakfast with plenty of choice, though no cooked items.

We wanted a nice place close to, but not too close, to the center of Salamanca... And our choice of the Regio hotel was perfect.
Large and convenient parking lot The hotel itself is really nice with:
Efficient welcome and check-in.
Spacious, clean and comfortable room with ensuite bathroom and balcony.
Good and generous breakfast with a good selection of items.
Huge swimming pool (shared with the campsite nearby).
A few restaurant options within walking distance.
All in all, we were very satisfied with our stay. Highly recommended!

This is a large hotel about 10-15 minute drive from Salamanca, it caters mainly for tour groups and as such is very busy. The accommodation was comfortable but the room was too hot forcing you to open the window. Fortunately as the hotel is away from the main highway there was not too much noise. Regards food , it was poor. Dinner was a huge lasagne, a plate of salad which no one touched because they were not sure what it was to go with, main was chicken and mushrooms and dessert this horrible custardy thing in a dish. Very strange ensemble and no other choices. Other groups were eating different things which made me think the menu was inspired by the tour company. Breakfast was awful, the worst on my tour, no choice and a bun fight with all the other tour groups in there. Not relaxing and not a place to stay other than to rest your head for one night.

A good hotel wher we had a large room. It was a pity the pool was closed for Autumn., because it looked inviting. The food was good although it was a budget menu. It was served well. The area was a bit out of town and quiet.

This Hotel is 4 KM from Salamanca and is 1 km from nearest town (Santa Marta) which closes at 8:30.Not exactly 4 star but clean. We were stuck here on our tour. Better be real cheap to want to stay here though they have free parking.Better to stay IN Salamanca Proper.Steve

I stayed here for 3 nights as part of a group. I was allocated a west-facing room and noted that the curtains were very hot when I drew them to be in shade. After dinner I returned to the room and the Temperature was 39deg C which was intolerable. I complained and no alternatives were available. I was advised to open the balcony door as the AC was set on heating. The problem was that there was a wedding party going on and this was very noisy until after 2am. So my room was both hot and noisy. Just not acceptable. The remaining 2 nights were in another room which was cool and satisfactory.
The food was satisfactory and after the debacle of the first night, the staff were helpful and friendly.
This hotel is not far out of town and generally OK but be careful in accepting a room there.

This is a good 3, not a 4 star hotel. Ir is out of Salamanca, the bus stop is right in front of hotel. The rooms are large and comfortable, yet a bit outdated. The staff is very nice. Breakfast could be improved, rather tasteless. They have outside pool, but did not have time to try it. I'd not stay here again, but if you look for a reasonable price and don't mind driving, it is a decent place to stay for a night or two.
