The hotel is conveniently situated in a wonderful city the staff on reception are polite professional and very helpful, The rooms are spacious clean and bright, but there are no USB points no kettle for a nice cup of tea, a little up grade would be very much appreciated, we arrived early afternoon so decided that we would go out and investigate the city it is a delight so full of architectural wonders and you would need a couple of full days to actually do it justice, we decided that we would make our way back to the hotel for dinner as they were offering a set menu at a set price, let me just add that a price increase of 6 euros in a matter of weeks seem a little excessive to say the least anyway we are on holiday so decided to let it go . We were seated by a gentleman in all the rigmarole gave us a menu and then left us to decide, on his return we had all decided on our choices from the set menu. The starters arrived and to be honest weren’t that bad, then the mains arrived and two out the four orders were not cooked properly and stone cold so were returned and when they finally returned might I add at this juncture our friends had already eaten there meal, anyway our meals were returned in the same state that we sent them back in the first place so enough was enough and I decided that I didn’t want to continue with the menus, my wife decided that dispite not had a main meal would continue and at least have the sweet, anyway at the end I asked for the bill expecting that the whole experience was a disappointment that they would not charge us for the bits that we had and as a good will gesture maybe a free drink in the bar for the inconvenience they had caused us but no they tried to present us with the full bill for both complete meals which I had a starter and nothing else and my wife had a starter and the sweet, a dispute then occurred with them playing the I don’t speak English and don’t understand, after a few rounds of back and two with no outcome I asked for the manager, The young lady from reception was summoned to translate I could go on but like me at this point I wanted to throttle the guy he couldn’t understand that I wasn’t prepared to pay for something we hadn’t had, any way to cut a very long story short we ended up paying 14 euros total, in my opinion was a travesty so the morale of this story is don’t eat at the hotel restaurant take more time visiting this wonderful city and eat out. End of rant

I don’t understand why someone said the rooms were dirty and dated but it was not my experience! I had a very clean and pleasant room. The only thing that needed adjusting was the sliding doors to the bathroom but they may not have realised until I mentioned it.A nice view of the famous Cathedral on level 5. Staff at reception and in the restaurant were friendly and attentive. The white Verdeja wine at supper was nicely chilled. The menu del dia at supper which included bread, water and a glass of wine was reasonable. I liked the white table clothes and napkins. The music from the bar was a little intrusive but tolerable, I’m not a fan of loud music. The meal was simple and I’m not sure if it was brought in ready prepared but it was not a la carte just simple and tasty. A little more choice and more authentically Spanish would have been nice, it felt a bit bland. Otherwise I would certainly stay here again as it was good value for money.

We had a quiet modern room with a city view. It was a short walk to the old town and a large number of restaurants nearby. The Cathedral and Roman Bridge were about a 10 minute walk.
Underground Car Parking was €12, and paid to the hotel. Conveniently there was a lift from the car park to the hotel reception. Breakfast was adequate and staff were helpful. The room price, including breakfast, was reasonable for a 4 star hotel in August.

I was on a tour and this hotel was picked by the tour company. I wasn't too fond of the hotel. The bed sheets and covers made me itch and I felt as if you didn't know your way around, it would be hard to navigate to go find food and public transportation. I only stayed here for a night and went out to dinner which was about a 10 min walk and it was lead by our tour leader. If I had to go myself to find food, I'd get lost. So if I had a choice, this wouldn't have been a hotel I would have stayed at. It has a breakfast buffet and it's similar to all the other hotel breakfast buffets so nothing special.

Came here on a tour so could not choose the hotel and this place is simply horrid. Aside from the old dated hotel furniture, this place is straight up DIRTY. Bath towels were an off white greyish colour and the beds were dusty. Worst part was the hotel restaurant. Absolutely filthy cutlery. The drink glasses had marks on the rims and when we used paper towels to clean them, brown stains were left on the paper. Disgusting. It was no wonder why I had a stomachache after eating the hotel dinner. Simply unacceptable. Especially in a time of a pandemic where it is important to maintain hygiene standards. Do NOT stay at all costs!!

Not worth the money. Our stay cost us over £100 for one night and we stayed in a brilliant 5* hotel in Madrid for the same price. (I think they raised their prices dramatically because of Semana Santa - rip off)
The room was extremely basic, there wasn’t even any water provided. The shower head was rusty and dirty and there were hairs and mould bits all over the bathroom floor, and hair on the bed sheets. After complaining and being assured it would be re-cleaned, we came back to see no difference.
The beds were uncomfortable and squeaky. The AC didn’t work very well and loud boiler noises kept us awake during the night.
If this was advertised as a budget hotel then fair enough, but not worth the price we paid and I definitely will not be returning in the future.

This place was a real mixed bag. The room was spacious and clean and the bathroom was clean. The room was however, very dated. Plenty of well placed powerpoints. Fridge and safe in room. No coffee tea or water provided but there is coffee available in reception. The TV is ridiculously small if you want to watch a bit before going to bed. Short walk to Plaza Mayor and city centre. It's only the 2nd time I've seen 2 single beds pushed together to make a double (this is very common), but instead of wrapping the sheets as a double, they wrap the sheets to create 2 singles. The bed was not comfortable either, old and lumpy. Bizarre and frustrating! Breakfast was ok. Room was very quiet though. Friends I was staying with had the same issues in their rooms.

Good location, pleasant staff, clean and comfortable room. We were there at the end of semana santa, a huge celebration throughout Salamanca. The hotel staff was very helpful in giving information to enjoy the festivities.

Travelling on bus tour and stayed one night. Unfortunately we both have covid and we’re unwell. We arrived at 5.30pm and were too unwell to walk into town for meal. All ww wanted to do was have light meal and go to bed. Would not serve room service until after 8.30pm. They suggested we go to supermarket next door and purchase food. Asked if we could possibly have an electric kettle in room and some cups to make cup of tea. Sorry we don’t have any kettles we were told. Go for walk to a cafe or use room service. But room service won’t start until 8.30 pm. So all we had was water to drink. Went down for breakfast - sorry dining room doesn’t open until 7.45 am. You will have to wait. Bit if Fawlty towers service at this place. Don’t care how sick you are we won’t change our times for you.

This is a relatively new -or well kept-hotel. Walking distance from Plaza Mayor where you really want to spend the rest of your life. It is spacious, comfortable room, helpful staff, garage on site and it is in Salamanca. Breakfast is rich if you are on of those who eats meat for breakfast.

Yes, I parked there too - and was very happy to find it after a long drive through Spain. The entrance to the car park is down between some shops and it looks just like a shoppers car park but also has a separate section for hotel guests. All good.
