Very good option to stay not far from the old town, you can see all the sights to see them by legs. The hotel is old but we book junior swita for a very good price and both rooms was large and with nice arrangement, for travelers like us with many luggages was just perfect. The bathroom could be better, more modern. But the bed was comfortable. You can find free parking in the area. And Mrs Nines in the reception was very helpful with everything. Breakfast was not too rich and with no many varieties, my be cos of Corona. You can find arround bar and caffe for breakfast. We had a small problem with cleanliness but Mrs Nines arrange the issue and was so kind to send us a complimentary wine with some tapas. We had to travel very early and we ordered the breakfast we had paid to be prepared for the trip, but they didn't prepare what we ordered, so we had to throw away half of it

This hotel is quite well located, 10 minutes from Plaza Mayor. Room is big enough, comfy mattress, big bathroom with an old fashioned tub. Hope you won't have noisy neighbours next door, cause soundproof seems to be optional!!! A kettle and a tissue box would be highly appreciated. Big breakfast with plenty of choices. For the price you pay, it could have been much better!

This is an excellent, clean and modern hotel about 10 minutes walk from Plaza Mayor. Rooms were basic but modern and spotlessly clean. Bed was comfortable. The parking below the hotel is extremely tight, and when I let them know I was having difficulty they immediately offered me a space in an alternative across the road, which was much wider. Breakfast was good with a wide range of choices and customer service excellent throughout, particularly the lady who helped me with the parking.

We stayed in a family room. I have to say that this tryp offered a great family , very spacious and my kids were happy to receive surprise gifts for them placed on their bed, such a great touch.
I wish we could have stayed longer , the hotel is close to major attractions and nice restaurants. Customer service is impeccable

Excellent location within easy walking distance of the main plaza which is a must to visit. Never seen so many restaurants and cafes in one place before. There are a number of green spaces in Salamanca and, although the hotel didn’t look at first glance as if it was in a great area, it was in fact about 50 yards from a lovely park, but on a one way street. Car parking is at a premium. The hotel has its own secure parking underneath the hotel and another across the street. However it was extremely expensive at 14 euros per night.

Check in was smooth and the receptionist spoke fairly good English. She was helpful and gave us a map pointing out the best way to walk to the main tourist areas. Having booked a superior room, it was large and well decorated with a lovely veranda which unfortunately looked directly into the penthouse flat across the narrow street. The hotel is however surrounded by flats so there wouldn’t be a choice. Air conditioning in the room was very efficient for warm weather. The bathroom was of marble, large, clean and with an array of toiletries and large bath towels.

Free wifi in the room and public areas (of which there was really only one -at reception), but the code was given with the room key and could only be operated on one device.

Breakfast was quite good for a Spanish hotel. Although not the hot choice of an English breakfast, there was a huge array of fruits, cheeses, cold meats, pastries etc., as well as bacon and scrambled egg. Perfectly satisfactory.

Liked this hotel for its location and for the room and breakfast and would stay here again.

Just stayed at the Tryp Salamanca and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the Hotel. A modern hotel with helpful staff and comfortable rooms. Only a 5 or 6 minute walk from Plaza Mayor but in a quiet part of the town, there was no outside noise even though the festival was on.

Not an attractive building from the outside but a good clean hotel in an excellent location close to the main centre and with good size, comfortable rooms with most needs catered for. Breakfast offerring is sufficient and room service is available albeit from a third party operator. Staff could be more helpful but language differences may be the main contributor here.
A couple of tips: car parking is offered but no charge is mentioned until you check out. The parking is tight and beware the bad driver who parks you in or worse hits your car whilst parking.
Second tip: the room doors are heavy and the walls are thin so those guests who don't care for anyone but themselves take great delight in pulling the doors shut with force causing a continual and loud banging that is very very annoying. At least ask for a room at the end of a corridor to minimize the impact.

This is a great hotel! A 10-minute walk from the central plaza, on a side street so very quiet. Very nice room and staff (although front desk was always understaffed, just 1 person there, but very nice). A great option for those driving into town, as it is easy to find, has parking, and doesn’t involve driving through the historical centre side and pedestrian streets to get there!

Room was nice, however we could hear the lift constantly being used, only stayed one night instead of 2, due to this. Were offered a different room which we declined. Breakfast was good. 15 euros a nt to park in the hotel garage.

Nosotros si reservamos parking cuando nos alojamos, el parking creo que está sobre los 20€ (no recuerdo bien). Como incoveniente, el parking no está en el mismo edificio si no en uno colindante, aún así es privado y cerrado, bastante seguro.
