We were at El Rancho for two weeks from April 21st.
A charming hotel with comfortable rooms.
El Rancho has an odd mix of paintings upon it's walls, a mix of Spanish and oriental influence.
There is a bar with tables and chairs and uncomfortable sofas, (you know the kind that eat you and give you no support).
The restaurant is set on many levels and is a popular venue for locals on weekends and holidays. The suckling pig is to die for, but then that is what Segovia is famous for.
Rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable.
The on-suite consists of a large shower cubical, bath WC and wash basin.
There is a settee in the room but comfortable is not a word you could use for it.
There is a unit with a TV on it, this also doubles up as a desk with a chair provided.
The beautiful city of Segovia is around twenty minutes drive away and a taxi costs approximately seventeen Euros each way for the journey. Well worth a visit. The cathedral cost 3 Euros...

The hotel was well situated with an easy drive to Segovia. The hotel, cafeteria and restaurants were excellent, the gardens and grounds also very nice. The outside pool is cold but again nice to be able to use it as is the indoor pool and spa. The rooms were very nice and spacious and perfect for our little yorkshire terrier dog, we were able to take her to the gardens and for walks as we had patio doors direct to the garden. All in all a very nice place to stay for a couple of nights; we would recommend it. More
