Location is perfect just off La Rambla - airport & tourist buses stop just 5-8 mins walk away. Rooms are spotlessly clean & towels replaced daily. The breakfast buffet is more than adequate with freshly baked goodies & fresh fruit. Staff are the people who make this hotel; nothing is too much trouble & they are always smiling & happy...

We stayed here for 2 nights in a triple room. Great location just off The Ramblas, well renovated funky hotel. Very friendly staff, welcoming and able to give good advice. Good selection for breakfast. We had a triple room which was small but clean. Limited toiletries in the shower room. My one complaint is the air conditioning did not work...

Myself and my partner spent three nights here during our recent trip to Barcelona. We wanted a cheap and clean centrally-located hotel for our stay and for the most part that is what we got! Hotel Curious is located a 2 minute walk from La Rambla, along a charming street. It’s location is very easy to find and navigate from/to....

We stayed in the economy room, which had everything we needed but was very small, which was fine for us since we didn't sit in the room much more than for sleeping. The breakfast was good and had a good spread of food. The employees were very nice and helpful. I left something in my room and they were very...

Title says its all. Stayed 3 nights in a double room. Location is perfect as only a 1min walk to Ramblas, but on the less touristy side. Importantly, its next to the BIG MARKET which I loved. The staff are super nice and go out of their way to be helpful. All 3 shifts are the same. Clean with an...

Ideally located hotel. The room was nice and clean. Bathroom linens and toiletries were changed/replaced on a daily basis and bedroom linen after three days. The breakfast buffet was very good. The front desk staff was nice and friendly. The room had no safe and it is the only objection I have to this one-star hotel.

Just came back from a weekend here with my 2 boys and my father. Excellent location, rooms are what you pay for and continental breakfast included but what sets this place apart are the staff who are above and beyond helpful Special thanks to Claudia!

Halfway through our stay & this hotel is a great find. All the staff are fantastic & very helpful. A special mention to Caryn & Claudio for getting us milk for our many cups of tea. The hotel is so easy to get to from the Aerobus & a great base to get anywhere. Breakfast is plentiful & the room...

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
