Everybody was very polite and helpful, especially Alba at the front desk who helped us get our luggage from the airport, which was misplaced by Lufthansa. Apparently this is a common problem these days in Europe as airlines reduce prices, overhead and the like.
Beautiful hotel, nice clean rooms with classy floorboards, free tapas bar and lovely staff. Close to so many things in Barcelona that we walked pretty much everywhere.
Staff are extremely helpful and friendly and can’t do enough for you. ¡Muchas gracias! Tamara, Lily and Pol.

Dear Mr. jendaveNewcastle,
We want to thank your fabolous review. It is our best reward.
Our staff is enthusiastic with your comments.
We hope to see you soon.
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighbourhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local
musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.

You could walk the distance in less than 20 minutes. It may be longer if you have large bags. The taxi fare for us was about 20 Euro. It would have been cheaper if we did not have to drop another couple at their hotel on... More
