My son stayed here with his soccer team for the week. His room had 6 kids in it in single beds (not bunks) with an en suite bathroom. It was perfect for them. It's basic furniture. The kids loved the food, and the location was centrally located right at Passeig de Gracia near the fancy shops. It's central to everything....

A frustratingly awful place to stay - rooms are cramped full of beds and badly furnished. We booked a triple room and couldn't fully open the door. Noisy, unsafe and very unfriendly staff. When we pointed out the fire risk of not being able to fully open the door we were eventually moved to a room in a separate, isolated...

Amiga Louise, I am really sorry we did not meet your expectations, and i can assure you that this is not our intentions. As we have discussed i can confirm most strongly that we are fully compliant with all laws and regulations and that there are no issues. I am sorry that you felt unsafe despite this, and after you...

There were a lot of issues I encountered while staying with you. First of all the housekeeper entered my room at 9 in the morning and started cleaning while I was still in my bed sleeping! Checkout is 11 so I still had 2 more hours before she should have even tried entering that room. After trying to communicate with...

Dear Amigo, I am really sorry we did not let you get enough sleep that day, and i can assure you that this is not our intentions. I am sorry that you had to wake up and speak with the Front-desk so they can call the housekeepers to leave the room, it was a missunderstanding and we have spoken with...

I had a comfortable stay in Casa Gracia back in September. The hostel is well-located, we can literally walk to a majority of Gaudi's significant buildings. The only one thing that was a bit disappointing for me was the laundry room that has had one washing machine and one dryer only. The washing machine was broken during my stay and...

Casa Garcia is a cool place, right at the edge of the coolest neighborhood of Garcia. Cool bars all around, not touristic like city center but still very hip. Hope you enjoy your stay, this place is awesome, go see the donkey downstairs at the club, which used to be an old bank. Some amazing design they have there

This place looks like more than a hostel. The design could be for a higher-end restaurant. I only had breakfast so don't know if the service and accommodations live up to its excellent location. I was attracted to its style and was served a thin, but nicely-cooked tortilla (omelette) and Americano coffee for a very reasonable price. The staff seemed...

I personally never give reviews but this one really amazed me . It is a hostal for young people and the staff is full of good vibes. The room was more than enough, and the location is great! Staff was really friendly and on the last night of my stay they even gave me a letter with a chocolate inside...

The word "Hostel" in the the hotel title says it all: while I had a private room with a private bath, this establishment is mainly a hostel, with large rooms for several people, cheap prices, for kids, mainly (oh, those were the days!). My room was not cheap - so I was expecting a classic hotel experience. Boy was I...

The staff at this hostel are amazing, always smiling and wanting to genuinely make your stay enjoyable. The restaurant serves some of the best food I've had in Barcelona. The yoga and Sunday night theatre are great! All selling points of the hostel. But if, like me, you picked the hostel for the above mentioned reasons plus the great photos...

Staying in Gracia

Neighbourhood Profile
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theatre that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
