We struggled to find a reasonable priced Hotel/Hostal in Barcelona for the night of 17th October and finally found Tripledos. The Bed & Breakfast is a gem, we arrived from a cruise ship very early in the morning, but the Raquel let us leave our luggage and recommended a nearby café where we could have breakfast and go back to...

Tripledos is a lovely B&B situated in a great area of Barcelona. It is nothing fancy but very comfortable. We arrived in Barcelona quite early in the morning and the manageress allowed an early check-in for us which was great and much appreciated after 24 hours of travelling. The check-in was very professional and the manageress is super helpful and...

Stayed here for five days in room 106 and was good value for money. Very friendly staff. Lovely terrace to sit out at night and for breakfast in the morning. Good choice of cereal, toast, cheese, ham, fruit, yoghurt and orange juice. They kindly catered for my gluten free bread too. Tea and coffee is available all the time. There...

This bed & breakfast was definitely a great place to stay in Barcelona. We had a beautiful room with a balcony and a street view. The place is located near La Rambla and Passeig De Gracia, which are both a short walk away. There are also many good restaurants and bars nearby. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only...

We have just spent two nights at the Tripledos. It is in a good location about a 5-10 minute walk to the central buzz of Barcelona. The staff at the B&B were really nice and the whole place felt intimate with s nice feel to it. Breakfast on the terrace was lovely and you can help yourself to tea and...

I agree with most of what has been written. The building is in the Eixample area, just a few blocks from Las Ramblas. The location is great. There are many good restaurants close by, plus little convenience stores and a supermarket. We walked to Sagrada Familia from there, a semi brisk, 30 minute pace. Picasso museum was about 35 minutes....

Our stay at tripledos was a great surprise. We were received by Alex a bubly and very friendly outgoing personality. The room was amazing, typically 1915 flooring, heigh ceiling and clean and bright. The coffee bar, breakfast and terrace very good. Location A1 steps from the city center. All in all a superb stay for a fair price.

Nice hotel – an old and characterful apartment that has been converted into hotel rooms. The staff were very helpful and attentive throughout our stay – excellent hospitality. The Tripledos can be difficult to find (even when you are stood right outside) because of the small sign. Our night was a little noisy, as our room was next to the...

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
