I stayed here 2 years ago and wasn't pleased but Id read it was renovated so I chose this location again. The room is very small. Ive had larger rooms on a cruise ship. I had a friend come stay with me and they said I need to pay 25 euros per night extra so she can sleep here. Disappointed....

Excellent location, very friendly staff, clean and nice room. We forgot to include the breakfast to our reservation, so we paid on the spot. We got suprised about the breakfast prices and the age limit for children. A ten year old child was counted as adult. This information should have been found on the hotel's website.

the room was very quite and nice despite the location right on the street. once the windows were closed you cants hear anything from outside. bathroom was also nice however the shower head wasn't so practical and the water wasn't strong. but overall i would rate it maybe a 7, in the pictures it looked more glamourous to be honest,...

Centrally located close to La Rambla, walking distance to many restaurants, and bars. Clean and warm. Very nice breakfast, would have loved if they had jamon though. Slightly small showers but otherwise all ok.

The location can't be better, 4min walking from Plaza de Cataluña, but not in a noisy and busy street. Around the hotel, restaurants, coffee shops, metros, shoppings... Our room for 3 was big and well distributed, the bathroom was spacious and clean. The beds comfortable and big. Staff are very nice and helpful. I will strongly recommend this hotel, and...

Brilliant hotel, great location and friendly staff. Stayed for two nights in family room, comfortable and clean. Lovely decor, bang in the centre of the city, right outside the tube station. Airport bus drops off 200 yards down the road, perfect location. We had a great stay, great breakfast and at a reasonable price.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Regina! It's conveniently located next to Plaza Catalunya and Las Ramblas - most of the main tourist attractions and shopping were within walking distance. We visited Park Guell and the Sagrada Familia via Metro - which was also very closeby. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful - they gave us free bar...

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
