Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Hostal Q throughout our 4 day stay in Barcelona. The location could not have been better - so central and in walking distance of everything. The room was relatively small however fulfilled our needs, the bed and pillows were comfortable, the room was

The location was very good, near to metro and several attractions and restaurants. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. The only downside is that the bathroom inside our room was like an aquarium and there was no curtain or blinds to cover. Lucky we're a couple, imagine

The room we got at Hostal Q was small compared to what room our friends got . It’s very neat . The location is great close to everything . They have vending machine and coffee machine in the floor which we found very practical .

Don’t understand the good reviews. The room was like a cage. Too small. Not so clean. I was very looking forward to finish this stay at this hostal. It was quite noisy as well. However great location!

Hi, there was an underground parking space and some spaces on another street but you best check with the hotel, because we didn't drive a car there. You can also use google maps street view to check the surroundings.

What is the best way to get from the airport and if I book a transfer what area is it x
You can take the bus AEROBUS (blue) in the same terminal. The Aerobus stops at the Plaça de Catalunya, from there, the Q is a 2 minute walking. From the aiport, also you can take a Taxi , it takes 20 minutes and cost around 30 Euros (varying due traffic and luggage). In the website section "How to reach" you will find yourself all the information on how to reach to the Q.

I am not sure about getting to the grand prix, sorry. Looking at a map it looks quite a distance. Perhaps email the hotel direct to ask how would be best to get there. And yes, there is a cupboard where you can lock your bags away if you arrive before checkin.
