Tried to check in on line as we had to book two nights due to a very early arrival. Didn't work out so well. Check in was laborious; the rep did a good job sorting it all out. The hotel is very modern, the breakfast has a wide spread of food and the gym is good. Best of all, the...

For a city break the location of the hotel is essential and here we have the Renaissance Barcelona with the best of it. Walking distance to Ramble and close to the city sightseeing buss. The hotel is modern however if you stay in the top floor you might have some signs of leaks on the ceiling as we did. Area...

The first thing you notice is how squeaky clean this hotel is. The staff is very friendly and super helpful. Being an impatient person you will discover that nothing in Europe moves as fast as you. Be patient, it's just their way. The beds and pillows are super comfy. The shower is amazing!! Seriously, it's amazing!!! Best water pressure anywhere....

It was my friend's birthday when we were staying, although there was an IT problem which made the front desk staff didn't recognise my Marriott membership, they delivered a cake, some fruits and a bottle of champagne to the room. It was very nice. Additionally, the hotel is a smock-free hotel, but there were two candles with the cake. We...

Excellent service began at check-in, continued at the restaurant and bar despite being overrun with an American tourist group, and an invitation to return upon check-out. Small, but clean and comfortable room and bathroom. Beautiful view of the Sagrada Familia. Will definitely return and stay again.

We were greeted warmly by the friendly staff. The check in was fast. We requested a wheelchair for one of my family members and they helped us rent a wheelchair for two days. The rooms are spacious and clean. The only problem was the shower. The problem was that the bathtub / shower didn't have a shade to close. They...

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
