Rooms were clean; staff friendly and efficient; central to cultural places, transport and restaurants. Staff went out of their way to arrange transport from hotel to cruise centre and to recommend eating places that met our expectations.
We stayed at the Hotel Atlantis following a cruise and were very pleased with our stay. The hotel is well located near Placa de Catalunya and was a good base for us to explore Barcelona. We found all of the hotel staff very friendly and...More
Pretty average hotel really
We had the same room for both nights so can only comment on this one.
Good size room and clean.
Although it had windows, they were frosted over as the outlook was basically onto what can only be described as a...More

Chose this hotel based upon Trip Advisor recommendations. Great location, close to everything especially the Metro, Las Ramblas, and Catalunya Plaza. Our room overlooked the street so there was noise but a great view. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly.

Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day
forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.

Very safe I stayed there for 9 nights both with my daughter and by my self. It is a shopping street leading to the top of the Rambla and Catalunya. Try eating at L' Oliva, down Jovellanos which is street right near hotel on way to Catalunya. or go to the Rambla and turn down Santa Ana, one of the first small streets on left. I ate there by myself and shopped at night at El Corte and never felt unsafe. There is a small convenience store and pharmacia opposite the Atlantis.
