Hotel is in a great location, rooms were clean and tidy although dated, terrible pillows.
We had a room overlooking La Ramblas, one of the main tourist hubs which never sleeps, we could stand on our balcony and enjoy the activity, however our sleep was...More
Our recent 5 night stay at Hotel Ramblas was quite comfortable and extremely handy to most of what Barcelona has to offer. The room was clean and sufficiently spacious. The bed was quite comfortable, but the pillow was much too flat for my liking. The...More

Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-metre boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and
appetising selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.

I agree with comments about the hotel, only positive is the location. Can't help with airport public transport as I got a transfer to hotel. However, I can recommend the hop on hop off bus. There are 2 lines (routes) you can travel on. The best way to see highlights of Barcelona. Enjoy your holiday and watch your handbag/wallet.
