The hotel and services are really good. Staff is ready to help you or gove you information about the city and everything. The location is very good since it is close to the main sights and to the metro as well.

Everything is very basic, no frills. As other reviewers noted, the elevator is painfully slow, and the noise carries over horribly between rooms. Whenever someone in the building would flush their toilet it felt like my room was shaking. But it's clean, very well located, and relatively affordable. If you're just looking for a place to sleep while spending most...

Arrived late at Barcelona on motorbike, so no much choice ot go and out for hotels. No parking near by, just a loaded parking island a bit down the road. The panniers couldn't take it to the room cos it was so tiny, had to leave my pannuers on a unlocked and unatendad room down stairs. Other bags were there...

Hotel Nuevo Triunfo is well located, moments walk from the Paral•lel metro station which gets you around the city very quickly. Opposite the hotel you’ll find a supermarket which is open until 11pm daily and stocks pretty much everything you need. Unfortunately, other than the location, there is not much more positive I can say. I visited for a week...

The location of the hotel is great. 5 min walk to metro, 10 min walk to port and the aquarium. Regarding the room. We got two rooms. One was good the other was with bad smell and we asked to move. The bed was rather small and not comfertable and the elevator takes forever to arrive. The reception people where...

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel to see the highlights of Barcelona. The location of this hotel is great. Walking distance to metro and shops. Most interesting places are however still too far to walk. We rented bicycles which works very well. The staff was very friendly and even our bikes were kept inside during the night. Rooms are...

Stayed here for 4 nights. Rooms really modern and clean, beds very comfortable and rooms very quiet. 2 mins walk from the Metro and only 15 mins walk to La Ramblas. Would highly recommend this as a budget hotel only annoyance was a slow lift but could live with that.

Staying in Montjuic

Neighbourhood Profile
Montjuic
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colourful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
