This hotel is conveniently located just half a block off La Rambla, one of the main thoroughfares, and from the Liceu metro strop. La Boqueria, the big city market, is a couple blocks up La Rambla, and the hotel is only a few blocks from and from Placa de Catalunya, where you can catch all the city bus lines and...

Perfect location, seconds walk from Las Ramblas. Very close to metro station. When we arrived we were offered a room upgrade (2 couples), first ever! Rooms were great, decent size, double shower, flatscreen tv (but no channels in English) everything was spotless. Lockers available to store luggage after checkout. Vending machines with cold drinks. Would recommend and would return.

We casually found this structure walking in Reval quartier right in front of Liceu Teather. The location is perfect to visit Barrio Gotico, Barceloneta, Casa Battlo', La Bouqueria, la Rambla. From The Airport take the bus (5,90 euro) and drop off in Placa Cataluna just 10 min walk from the hotel.

Very clean rooms, and lovely decor. I had a single room with a twin bed and my own bathroom. Small, but not too small - enough room for me and my suitcase and counters/tables to put my stuff. Not super quiet but also not loud. I had no trouble sleeping. Price is VERY reasonable for what you get. I highly...

I've been staying at Hostal Operaramblas for 3 night in November 2016 with my mother and i was very pleased.. When I made the reservation online, I've asked for a silent room, because I read the reviews written here. They didn't have a standard room that met my request and tgey offered us a premium room with no charge extra....

Pros: the price, location, and the ambiance of the room. Spacious and quite upscale. Cons: I don't think they changed the sheets once during our 5 night stay. Given the price, it tends to draw in a sketchy crowd. We waited almost every night during our stay to be let in the building. Sometimes even a half hour. It's good...

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
