We decided on a taxi from the airport to the hotel as previously read it was €30 but as we were a party of 4 when we arrived another €12 was added!! Apparently €30 is based on one person using the taxi & then €4 pp extra is added. We arrived early due to our flight times but we were...

I visited Europark on a city break to Barcelona the location was prefer for The Rambles and metro links. The receptionist were all very helpful and friendly, the hotel was clean and the room was very comfortable. We over looked the road but once in the room you couldn't hear any traffic noise. I would definitely go back and recommend...

Lovely hotel situated short walk away from passengers de gracia and other attractions. The hotel was very close to the metro called girona making it easy to use the metro. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful when we were planning our itinerary. We were welcomed with a bottle of cava and the best chocolates I have ever tasted. We...

I love the design of the hotel. Fancy toilet. And big space for us. Have a sofa to rest. Location is perfect. Closer to everything we used to go! The price is reasonable. I recommend to all couples or friends who is going to visit Barcelona to stay here. Less then 7 minutes to the train station which could bring...

It is a lovely gem of a hotel--we covered the entire city by walking--it was well-situated. Friendly, helpful staff. Loved the cleanliness and modern decor. We stayed in early November and it was too cool to use the pool. Did sit by it to read. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Overall it was a decent experience for the price. However, the room, standard, is very small. Barely enough space to walk around the bed. My room also had small nats or fruit flies in it because the windows did not have screens. It is also a bit far from the major sights. My window looked out to the alley, so...

The single room was sufficient for a solo traveler. It would even accommodate a couple with minimal baggage. It was clean. The cream and black decor was modern. The staff and reception persons were very friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to assist with touring the area. Europark is about a 12 min walk from Passeig de Gracia, 2 mins from...

Modern and stylish hotel. Room was large and comfortable. Located 10 minute walk from la Sagrada familia and about 20 minutes from the old city center. Breakfast was a very tastey spread and worth the 12 euros/each for us. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again on a future trip to Barcelona.

We stayed in this hotel in our first experience in Barcelona. The best thing about this hotel is the friendly and welcoming staff. They make you feel very welcome and relaxed. The location is 10 min walk from la Sagrada Familia and Casa Batlo, two of the Gaudi's amazing artworks. In general we were very happy to stay at Europark...

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
