Good hotel to stay for a cheap stay in Barcelona, it was basic but all you really need. Our room was very small but not sure about other rooms, we had only booked a standard room. It was a little further away than I had anticipated but really not that far, was about a 15 min brisk walk to Placa... More

stayed at the hotel for 7 nights back in September 2013 as me and my husband chose Barcelona for our honeymoon destination. The room we got was bit small but as we spent just nights there we weren't so bothered. The breakfast was brilliant, lots of food to choose from The Hotel was very close to City centre, main attractions,... More

Had a two night stay here as a prelude to going on a cruise from the port. Hotel is on a busy road so there is some noise if you have a room at the front. But that was the only downside really. A little outside the main city shopping area but a 10 min walk gets you into the... More

We were booked a room in this hotel by our cruise line. However our research later showed it to be well situated and of a good standard. We found that to be pretty much on the money. It isnt bang in the centre but you can walk there in about 15 minutes (take a map though as it is a... More

Decent and nice Hotel. Very good location in quiet area far from tourists and close to everywhere by walk or bus. Tasty breakfast with delicious coffee. Staff at the reception are very helpful and friendly. It was a pleasant stay and I would recommend this hotel to everyone who would like to visit Barcelona for few days. Thank you!

Very clean but small single room. Tiny clean bathroom. Comfortable bed and noise free location. Conveniently located to bus stop only half block from hotel. Also supermarket and fruit-veggie shops close by. Walking distance to Catalunia Sq about 15 mins. Breakfast buffet well stocked with cheese, cold meats, bacon, sweet rolls, fruit bowl, yoghurt, juices, coffee, tea but no eggs.... More

This was a very pleasant stay. The hotel has a good look especially the lounge, bar, dining room and the rooms. The corredores were not so glamorous and a bit hot, but it was a minor thing. The room was good, with a nice bathroom and enough space to put our clothes. It had a safe, a mini bar, a... More

Stayed here for 2 nights 1 night before we boarded the cruise ship and another night after. The hotel was ok, the reception staff were great. 30 minute walk from Las ramblas. Would use this hotel again if needed for layover

The hotel is a comfortable stay with good size rooms with a nice bathroom attached. The breakfast served were also very good with a server making sure the bufee were replenished. The only thing is that the hotell is off somewhat from many main attraction and you have to walk around 1 km or so to get to the centre.

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
