A clean and tidy hotel in a nice district. Cheap; good breakfast. Really nice staff. Perfect location. Really safe area. The beds were good, clean and inviting rooms. Not noisy. Missed a safe in the room.

Overall, staying at the Hotel Amrey Sant Pau was a good experience, especially given the reasonable cost. To be honest, I typically spend more to stay at 3 or 4-star hotels, but I was encouraged to stay here based on the hotel's quality ratings and given my budget for this

This was a great location. I was visiting family and it was close to where they live, close to many public transit options, and close to sites. At the same time, it was thankfully a bit away from the touristy areas. The area, like most of Barcelona, was very safe and

Reasonably clean hotel, room-make ups OK but obviously didn't do much sweeping. Our room 216 was nice and quiet as requested but the only windows opened onto a service shaft so not much ventilation. Breakfasts were typically continental and lacked much choice if fruit. Otherwise

Hotel Reception Staff were very familiar with the route to the Airport and happy to help and advise. I seem to remember we got the L5 train from San Pau Dos de Maig, nearer than Sagrada Familia, then changed to L2 at Collblanc. Metro T10 ticket worked on RENFE Trains, buses and metro in most of the city but we needed to buy a separate ticket for a few Euros at the actual Airport station to get through the barrier. There were machines for this and it was straight forward. Trains clean and fast. T10 ticket is valid for 10 Zone 1 rides, and can be used for more than one person on the Metro and Bus.

Hi, When I booked through some company I'm not allowed to say I didn't pay any city tax. We stayed on the top floor and thought the hotel was brilliant. The breakfast was great. Hope you enjoy Barcelona myself and my daughter had a wonderful time. The metro is just around the corner and easy to use for getting around. Buy a T10 which is about 10euros it will cover 10 trips and well worth the money. If you have time visit the magic fountain of Montjuic but arrive a bit earlier than starting times as it gets busy. Look it up on the internet.

Definitely! The hotel has a reception desk and people check in and out all the time. They are used to late arrivals. However, I would suggest you email or telephone them ahead to alert them to your late ETA. So they know when to expect you. Friendly staff speak English. A taxi at that time of night would be my preference. Takes about 30mins. Cost about €30. Also I'd strongly recommend a room with a terrace, for the little bit extra it costs, it's well worth it for the view/ better standard of room. Enjoy!
