Stayed 10 nights at Hotel Cram and loved every minute of it. Been coming regularly to Barcelona for 15 years now and this is by far the best place we´ve stayed at. The rooms are modern, well kept, very clean, beds are extremely comfortable and rooms are quite spacious. The staff in the reception is probably the best we´ve ever...

Cram hotel is well located at the intersection of Aribau and Aragon streets in the Eixample area of Barcelona. Though the majority of taxi drivers didn’t know the name of the hotel, once I mentioned the 2 cross streets, it was no problem for them to know where to go. The location is also great for the sights and shopping...

We stayed at The Cram for two night and three days in June. The hotel was very modern and dark inside to contrast with the historic building exterior. The room was small but, well appointed and had a fun flair with the light settings and modern decorating. The hotel is small and in a very safe neighborhood. This is about...

Stayed here for four days in July with my partner for a mix of business and pleasure. We found it perfect. A nice room, compact but well designed and a really comfortable bed. The top floor terrace had a small plunge pool and great views. The staff were wonderfully helpful and friendly. The location was excellent away from tourist trappings...

Beautifully designed room, with curved walls and smart use of mirrors to expand the space. Modern design with warmth and sense of fun. Nice wall textures. You feel you're in a place where modern hip hotel design is important to the operator. Pre-set room lighting scenes that are fun and useful. When you open the room door, the room lights...

Stayed in the Cram from Sunday to Wednesday. Room was small but clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location good for both shopping and the night life of the Ramblas. A number of good restaurants nearby.

We stayed for 4 nights in the Cram hotel. The hotel is very well located on the corner of nice avenues. The interior of the hotel is designed by a modern architect. It has very nice and silent rooms. Bedlinnen and towels changed every day. Very nice breakfast on the roof terracce with fresh fruit. Nice and helpful staff. Easy...

Loved the location, loved the deisgn, however I was not a fan of the glass door to the bathroom. It gave no real privacy, and another downside was that the room felt a bit worn out. Not unclean, just a bit worn out. Otherwise the room was spacious and very well decorated, and the staff was super friendly and helpful....

I came for a business trip and was booked in this hotel. Though I usually don't fancu design Hotels, this one was simply fantastic. The rooms were well appointed and the staff helped me with logistic problems. Always with a smile, I never felt I bothered them when I steped to the Reception for the fifth time that morning. The...

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hotel Cram is situated in the middle of the Example district of Barcelona very close to the Paseo de Gracia, Rambla de Cataluna, Plaza de Cataluna and the Ramblas.Surrounded by the cities most emblematic architecture, the hotel fits perfectly into this rich legacy. The modernist style facade dates back to 1892, and has a definite majestic elegance. The 67 rooms are planned to offer maximum comfort, they stand out warm, elegant, avant-garde aesthetic, their highly functional design and their high-tech equipment. The restaurant Angle Barcelona, 1* Michelin, is moving to Hotel Cram and will be opening its doors on June 2013, with the same philosophy and willingness to bring customers a dining experience which is sure to tantalise each one of their senses. If ABaC is the ultimate expression of Jordi Cruz' cuisine, l'Angle seeks to liven up tradition with innovative touches, high quality products and dishes altogether different from those created in the kitchens of ABaC.Attentive, warm and friendly service with common goals: to clearly convey the messages hidden in the actual recipes and define our understanding of gastronomy every day, based on memory, creativity and the best ingredients. The redesign of event and meeting rooms, whose capacities ranges from 2-70 people, placed special emphasis on enhancing light through integrated stained glass windows. The Anemos Terrace Bar, located on the 7th floor with panoramic views of Barcelona, offers a breakfast buffet from 07:00 to 11:00. It later reopens from 12.00 Am until 12.00 Pm, serving drinks, appetizers, tapas and 'informal cuisine' uninterruptedly throughout the day. The new menu offers little snapshots of the creative style of Chef Jordi Cruz. ... more   less
