Very convenient hotel very close to La Rambla. Very stuffy rooms but nice with a patio door/balcony. Had to sleep with balcony door open. Went to bed each night and there was a very noisy atmosphere outside on the street next to La Rambla late at night so that meant very few of us that travelled to Barcelona on a... More

Stay in hotel for 5 nights in April this year, only location is for recommendation, during that week some building and reorganisation was going on. The biggest problem we have with ventilation in bathroom , because all steam been going to the room. It's not really comfortable when heating it's off and outside only 16 degrees. In general ok to... We had some very big positive reactions against one big negative. The hotel is clean and the rooms are new, householding does its work every day. Staff is kind and speaks well English. Clean and close. Nice rooms; small but efficient. Great price and location. Restaurants all around and just a few blocks from Las Ramblas. We chose the included breakfast which wasn't fancy but served the purpose. Self serve coffee & croissants, etc. Not a restaurant. Be prepared to hear street noise through the night since Barcelona opens late and there are... More

We spend two nights in two double-rooms on the 4th floor in october 2014. The hotel is located in a tiny road very close to the Ramblas. The rooms a quite small but the interior its modern and clean. The staff is friendly and uncomplicated. Compared to other hotels in this area, it is inexpensive and a good choice.

Check out the reviews on there as that is where people are heading to become critics. Heres my review and you will also find it on HOTEL BARCLEONA HOUSE. I believe this hotel is... More

We recently spent 2 nights in this hotel and found the location fantastic, just off the busy Las Ramblas, the room was small but very clean, air con worked and breakfast was very simple but adequate. However it was the desk staff who went out of their way to make our stay so enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble, iron,... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighbourhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
