We loved this stylish Aparthotel and it’s location in the Gothic quarter. Las Ramblas, the old town, the cathedral and the seafront are all within a short stroll. There is a nearby metro to go further afield and we found this very easy to use. The reception staff were so friendly, welcoming and super helpful. Special thanks to Albert 😊 We were in one of the smaller rooms which was absolutely fine for one week, well-equipped, clean and comfortable. There is some noise from the George Orwell square especially at weekends, but it didn’t bother us at all and I always travel with earplugs anyway! The roof terrace with pool is gorgeous, has great views and a perfect place to relax with a coffee. Room 51 is a penthouse with its own sunny roof terrace and jacuzzi … that would be amazing if budget permits! We weren’t brave enough to swim in the rooftop pool, but were very tempted on our last day when the sun was baking hot for early February! We ate at Palosanto next door to the hotel a couple of times and the food was delicious and very good service. We had breakfast a couple of times in the square in the February sunshine which was also lovely. All in all, we thoroughly recommend this fab hotel and we will definitely be returning for another visit.…

Welcoming, friendly and helpful staff with excellent English language skills. The room very comfortable, private, clean and well presented. Kitchenette and bathroom amenities in the room were excellent and gave us the flexibility to prepare meals if we didn't want to venture out. I particularly like the access the hotel provided to the restaurants and attractions in the gothic quarter. We had a fabulous stay.

Great boutique hotel in the middle of the gothic area. Super friendly staff, amazing building and spacious well appointed room. Has gym, small rooftop lounge and pool area. Concierge service went above and beyond to land us tickets. Would stay here on every visit to Barcelona.

From the moment of check-in to check-out, this was a great fit for our trip to drop off our daughter for study abroad in Barcelona. You can’t ask for a better location. The family-style room was more spacious than we expected for Europe with two full couches, kitchenette and king bed. And the star of an attentive staff was Dennis (“the menace”:)). We spent four nights in this exquisite hotel and really loved our stay. The location is brilliant, right in the heart of the Gothic quarter and a perfect base for exploring the city. The rooms are full of character and kept spotlessly clean and we also enjoyed heading up to the rooftop terrace to catch some sun and have an invigorating dip in the plunge pool. The team on Reception handled all of our requests brilliantly, including a room change. We were originally staying on the first floor but found a move to the third floor (due to an extremely squeaky sofa bed!) far better for us as a family - while the rooms are extremely well soundproofed, the square does seem to be used by rowdy locals at the weekend, who woke us up at 5am even through the brilliant soundproofed windows. Moving up to the third floor meant far more restful nights, while still being at the heart of the action in the city. We wouldn't hesitate to return to this immaculate hotel with its knowledgeable and accommodating staff. Thank you for a memorable stay in Barcelona.…
