Very well located, walking distance from most of the important sights of the city. The room was normal, small but with all the things we needed and most important: no noises from outside! All the staff was super cool. Regards to Gustavo who gave us important tips on how to get to the airport and bus station. We only stayed...

Visited here in August 2016 the bed was very comfortable but the bathroom was tired and dirty . Not worth the money paid (95 euros) There is free water and coffee but the milk had run out when we returned late at night. Staff at local Born hotel very helpful but it's not easy to find !!

Pros: Room was spacious and clean with good aircon. Beds were comfortable. Great location! The hotel is walking distance from a lot of sights, plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars and the beach. The hotel offered a good range of free amenities. Cons: A lot of construction work was taking place next door to the hotel. Throughout our stay there was...

Nice location. Rooms are very small but very clean. Plenty of nice bats and restaurants near by and hop on hop of bus tours can be booked at reception and bus stops quite close to hotel. Booked taxi from reception to return to airport and paid nearly double what we paid to get from airport to hotel. May be better...

Stayed here for the duration of Primavera festival so the room was a little more expensive than normal. The actual room itself though was more than adequate, very clean and the maid made the bed and ensured their was fresh towels every morning. No drinks facilities in the room but there is a communal area (it's not full of people...

We had a great time here. Good beds (not soft, more hard, it's what we prefer). Waterbottles and good(!) coffee for free, very helpfull alt reception, overall a real good stay. Best point: location. In the cosy neighbourhood Born, full with bars, restaurants and little squares. And only 10 minute walk (15 of its busy) to Ramblas...

It is a great base to visit most places. The room are clean and basic, suited to short visit. However, the room safe was not great as it is located at the top of the shelf and set back, so for me at 5'4 I needed to get the stool to reach only to find it was broken. Would still...

This part of of 2 hotels in the vicinity with a shared reception - the women on reception was lovely and really helpful, location is great, with basic but pleasant rooms... I would recommend this purely based on location as I have stayed in other bigger hotels in Barcelona that admittedly has nicer facilities, but I think location is more...

The hotel was clean and basic, but the location is great. Close to lots of bars and restaurants in the Born district. We had a balcony room overlooking the park, which was lovely to sit out on in the sunshine.

Stupidly when searching I looked at the cost of the booking in Pounds and not Euros (on their website). Which came to £144, however when it came to paying in euros it was over €180 significant difference in conversion. For the similar price you can stay in a three star at least. One thing I found weird is you had...

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighbourhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
