The hotel is in a very quiet neighbourhood of Barcleona, close to the Sagrada Familiar, but a bit of a walk to the rest of the city sites. Our first impressions were good, staff were brilliant offering help and maps and very friendly when checking in. Our room was a standard double, but had I known it would be so...

We stayed here for three nights in the week running up to Christmas. The location was brilliant - a five minute walk from la Sagrada Familia and right next to a metro station. The area was really quiet and we felt quite safe walking back to the hotel at night. The staff were quite friendly and held our luggage after...

We stayed two nights in this hotel and our stay was good, very nice staff, clean room, and the best of all was the view we had from our balcony to the sagrada familia. The balcony was big and cute! It only took us about 5-7 minutes walking to the sagrada familia, we walked everywhere else too, but around the...

Everything seems new and clean and the room service is perfect ( believe me - no idiots waking you up at 8am , if you ask to clean the room they do, everything is clean). Zero noises if windows closed. Excellent view to La Sa Grada. Close to metro, close to Centrum close to beach you can walk, y9u can...

My bedroom was rather smaller than I would have expected. Not really a problem for me, as I was by myself and only staying for one night. But it would have been a little awkward if I'd been travelling with Mrs Maximus, as the bed was pushed right up against the wall and there was consequently only a bedside table...

Wow we had an amazing time in Barcelona. We stayed 3 nights in a balcony room which had views to The sagrada familia. It was a fabulous room with an ensuite, useful minibar and a spacious balcony. The staff were all lovely and really helpful and answered all of our questions. We also were able to book tickets for attractions...

The hotel was in a great location for the attractions, clean and friendly staff. I'd booked a double bed an got 2 singles pushed together. Not very romantic. Could've done with a kettle in the room. Would put me off using again if they can't provide a double bed.

I booked 2 rooms here for 3 nights with my nieces last month. Our room was spacious, bed is comfy and clean. It is very close to the Sagrada Familia. The downside was about the room of my nieces. It was not that big for it is located at the 1st floor and the one that makes me upset was...

This hotel lost luggage that we left for safekeeping in their storage room. We had the ticket, but they could not find the luggage. Since their service of luggage keeping is for free we were not offered any compensation. Since only staff has access to storage room somebody at the hotel must know what has happened, but we were only...

We booked online so had a great deal, including breakfast. Great location - only a 5 minute walk away from the Sagrada! The Monumental station is also right outside the hotel which gets you to Catalunya/las ramblas in 15 minutes. Our room was on the higher floors which provided a beautiful view of Barcelona and the hotel itself is very...

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
