Best of all, lovely reception staff. Bathroom amenities on point, and turndown amenity with some chocolates and comp water also appreciated. Got a comp upgraded to executive and rooms are perfectly designed and clean.

Lovely hotel in an ideal location. Not far from a metro station which made it very easy to get around Barcelona. Lots of lovely cafes and restaurants nearby too. The staff were so lovely and welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable, and we had a little balcony, and I think for a city hotel the room was good size. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything was very comfortable and we were happy with our stay. The only thing was that the bed was very squeaky but otherwise we were happy. The staff was very helpful and nice and took good care of us and everything was smooth when checking in and out. The location is super nice and we got good recommendations.

The hotel is located in a great area and there are some amazing local restaurants nearby, whilst also being fairly close to a metro station and popular attractions. I would certainly stay in this area again. The rooms are fairly modern and the reception were very helpful (the reception area also smelled lovely!) That said, I felt it was quite overpriced and it is not made clear that certain room types grant access to certain facilities i.e. basic room types allow access to a pool near the bar that is in shadow for the majority of the day (and thus freezing cold). For access to the two pools that are in the sun (and associated seating area), you must have a premium room type. It was disappointing to have a room overlooking a pool and seating area that we were not allowed to use. We did also notice the breakfast price seemed extortionate compared to the cheap and delicious cafes all nearby the hotel. Overall, not great value for money, but loved the area. I suspect there are other hotels in this area that would be better value for money. …

This hotel has a lot going for it--great location, well-equipped rooms and friendly staff. The design of the hotel is modern, but the hollow internal space does create a bit of noise in the hallways. If you are a light sleeper, be sure to have a white noise app ready to go. Although the hotel lists a gym as an amenity, it's not really a gym. There are a few pay by the day gyms in the area, so there are options. The Terrace area is quite nice in the evenings, although there is no dedicated staff--there is a number to call and someone will appear to help you. The hotel is reasonably priced and there are dozens of restaurants and bars within a five minute walk. I'd definitely stay a Hotel Granados 83 again.

Second time in Barcelona and second time in this hotel. From the moment you enter Granados 83, and the aroma fills your nostrils, you know your stay will be awesome. The rooms are clean, the linen and towels are good quality. The location is perfect. Many restaurants and bakeries steps from the hotel. The staff is helpful and caring. Good quality hotel. Nice staff and good breakfast - particularly the hot food cooked to order. Unfortunately we were very unimpressed with our room. It was very small, dark and claustrophobic. I understand that city rooms are small but I felt like I was in a cupboard. The bed was small and very uncomfortable but the bedding was really nice with great pillows. The room was clean though. The air conditioning didn’t seem to do much and was making a funny noises which woke us up. The public areas in the hotel are good. The bar downstairs was always empty when we passed. There wasn’t much of an atmosphere in the hotel. The roof top terrace is a nice addition but we struggled to get service for a drink and food. We liked the location. We were happy to walk to get into the centre. The hotel is in a nice area. Overall it’s ok but would not return due to the room.…
