Located off La Rambla (if you want to stay there). It's a relatively basic 'hotel'. I had a room with ensuite that was on the top floor (5th). They have a very small and slow elevator from the first floor, which means you have to...More
The hostel itself was better than expectations: room was renovated, small but clean and we never had to queue to use the shared bathroom that was also clean and nice.

This place was clean and just lovely. Personnel were very helpful and fluent in English. The best! Close to everything necessary.... restaurants and hop on hop off. Why would anyone stay at a pricey hotel, when you get perfectness here?
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day
forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
