As we only had one day in Barcelona choose this hotel based on location and it couldn't have been better, 2 mins off Las Ramblas. However once inside your in a different world of peace & tranquility. Our family room was modern of good size, bunk bed for the kids however the top bunk had no sides and neither child...

the room was comfortable, the bathroom was spacious but somehow it stayed really cold (it was February), even though the room could be heated quite quickly. apart from that, everything was perfect: everybody was really welcoming and the place is in the heart of the Gothic quarter. would definitely go back again :)

Great customer service, great breakfast, good bed, clean and modern, ideally located, updated bathrooms. The only cons were no AC in spring time, which from what I can tell is everyone. This requires open windows....the rooms open to a courtyard when people hang out late and make noise and it's well lit which kept us up. Front desk did provide...

Upon our arrival we were welcomed by Xavier whom was most attentive and helpful making us feel relaxed and welcomed. We stayed for 3 nights on a city break staying in room 1109 which is a beautiful garden room located on the first floor. The room itself consists of lounge area with office station, this leads directly to the private...

We booked the junior suite here, room 1109. HUGE! Could sleep 4 adults very comfortably. The room has huge high ceilings. Also has a private terrace for the evening glass of wine. Lovely roll top bath in the middle of the room and fab walk in rain shower. Our toddler loved all the space - it's almost the size of...

Centrally located between the gothic area and Las Rambla the hotel is an oasis of calm with a shaded garden and terrace. We had a clean large room in the Garden block with good storage and large bathroom. The decor throughout Is modern with subtly and calming colours. The breakfasts - continental style - were some of the best we...

The communication with the hotel was great! We got the room super fast and it was very clean. They also put chocolates, small cake and small bottle of champagne for my wife's birthday. The hotel is kind of boutique with lovely helpful team. The hotel is less than 1 minute from the rambla and the liceu metro station. Breakfast was...

Just came to this hotel for a one-night stay after a luxury cruise. GREAT location. Helpful Staff. Nice looking and very clean hotel. Would definitely recommend it as a perfect location for seeing the sights of Barcelona. High point was that we were given a room despite our early arrival at 9 AM.

The good ... This hotel is in a convenient location with beautiful terraced gardens. Rooms are large, some can accommodate 6 people with innovative placement of beds and bunk beds. In contrast to the 19th century exterior facade, the fixtures in the bathrooms are ultra modern. Every room has a different decor, but the large California king bed stays consistently...

Staying in Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)

Neighbourhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighbourhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
