I spent 3 nights in this hostal a few days before Christmas. I paid 19 € for a single room with shared bathroom, in most places you would pay that for a dorm. The room was the right size for one rather large person, clean, temperature was perfect and it was fitted with a sink. In case you get the... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hostel for 3 nights. It's location is unbelievable, literally in the city center; 2 minutes away from La Ramblas, 20 minute walk to the beach, and really close to Barcelona Cathedral and Picasso Museum and much more. For its location, its price is pretty reasonable. Very friendly staff, clean and has a balcony... More

Obviously, you cannot expect luxury here, but I was positively surprised when I arrived at the postal. Everything is very clean, and even though most stuff in the hotel looks quite old it's still clean and comfortable. The room was small, but the bed was comfortable as well and the only noise you hear at night are the other guests,... More

The bed was very tiny! It was lucky that we were two girls traveling together. I don't think two guys could have fit in the bed. Otherwise the hotel was nice and very cheap too. The location was also really god.

We spend at this place 5 days. Everything was perfect. Close everywhere. La Rambla is just few steps from here and also train station Passeig de Gracia is near. So its really easy to get to hostal from airport by train or bus. You decide. Rooms are not big but clean and not much expensive, we had shower and toilet... More

Beautiful room with view on the main road from the amazing main balcony. The Barrio Gotico has its history and vibes that make the whole experience very intriguing. It was also easy and felt safe to walk around during night time. Spent there one night there for my mother's birthday before heading to the coast and really enjoyed the character... More

Stayed two nights at Hostal Lausanne in October with my hubby. The location of hostel is the best one, couple minutes from Plaza Catalunya and La Rambla. Nice common room with coffee machine, tv, microwave, computer and balcony facing Portal de Angel. There is second terrace also used for smokers with inner house views. Room not the biggest one but... Disgraceful. Dirty, filthy stained walls, room like a prison cell. Shoe prints and scuff marks all over the walls. Stains running down wall behind bed at head level! My room was designated as "superior" for which I paid extra. I didn't even use the shower it looked so grotty. The man on reception on arrival was patronising and arguing about... More
