We stayed in the Penthouse 1 bedroom apartment, which was very modern, nicely appointed, comfortable and had a beautiful, huge balcony. We used the fold-out sofa for our teenage daughters, which was fine. The apartment is just a block from the Paseo de Grasia and its Block of Discord - an easy walk to the Placa de Cataluyna and surrounded...

The property is with a perfect location – central and with easy access through the underground. We found it clean and convenient. It can easily accommodate a family with one-two children, so it was great for only two adults. The staff was very welcoming and helpful with advices and suggestions about dining and sightseeing. Thus, contributing to enjoy our weekend...

We decided to try an apartment as it was the same price as a hotel room but gave us total flexibility in terms of when we had breakfast which we made ourselves by stocking from the local supermarket. The apartment surpassed our expectations by a long shot. Huge, immaculate and well provided for in terms of TV's, Wi-Fi, crockery, cutlery...

The apartment is located in a very central area with walking distance to many places such as the metro, shopping and restaurant areas. It is also about a 5 min walk to a well stocked local supermarket. Upon check-in we were greeted with very friendly staff who were very efficient and helpful in assisting us with where to visit and...

The Paseo de Gracia Bas Apartments Barcelona is a great place to stay while in Barcelona. It was so clean and spacious. The space was more spacious than I even thought it would be. It was also very clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating, even when our plane landed later than expected. We were met at almost 11 o'clock...

For my business trip I need more than the space of a simple hotel room. This apartment (no. 103) provides a feeling of being at home. It is an excellent address to stay in shape and joyful as well for a business trip as for a small holiday in good company or family. Also, I welcome the gentleness, efficiency and...

After travelling all around the Mediterranean this apartment was a welcome break. It was so comfortable. Right from the word go, the lady met us and even helped us with all our bags up to the apartment. We stayed at the Family Penthouse which was beautifully renovated with a modern German designed kitchen. It was immaculately clean. The sofa bed...

We were really pleased with this apartment - beautifully decorated, clean and central. We were met by a lovely young lady who showed us everything (from how to use the dishwasher and washer to the coffee maker) - we arrived very late but she was in no rush. I can wholeheartedly recommend this apartment - the highlight for us was...

We were pleasantly surprised to find this gem of a place. We traveled with two kids and the place was perfect. It was a good size and fitted out to a very high standard and it was spotless clean. Check in was easy and friendly and the guy offered advice about what to see and to be careful of pickpockets...

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
