Pleased with the location of the hotel. No fridge or tea and coffee facilities which would have been nice. Hotel arranged with my cycle holiday so didn't check properly. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. Would recommend.

This is a great place to stay if you are taking the train and walking. Only a 10 minute walk from the train station and just across the bridge from Old Town. The staff was very nice and our room was good but its location was not - at the top of the stairs on the first level. All the... More

If you are not looking for modern luxury this hotel is passable for its location and helpful staff. Walking distance to all major attractions within the walls of the old town. Lots of eateries, bars and shops around - so exterior rooms can be very noisy until late at night. I was there for one week had an exterior room... More

The rooms were adequate, I luckily had a street view. Quite clean, smallish room. Reception staff very good, as was breakfast staff. Lovely bar for a drink and chat, however dined there one evening, and thought that was less than average

This older building is well kept, with fresh paint and some boutique style to the lobby. The small rooms are utilitarian yet well-kept. The friendly staff will oblige with advice and assistance. It has two advantages. One, a short walk across a main river bridge puts the visitor in heart of the old city with its handsome stores, historic sights... More

We stayed here for 3 nights whilst doing some stunning road rides in the area. The rooms were clean & comfortable, the breakfast buffet was really good, it's in a great locations, with secure bike storage & above all really friendly, helpful staff. :-)

We were recommended The Peninsula by Bike Breaks Cycle Tours. The bright modern communal areas of the hotel include a cafe and breakfast room which provides unlimited continental provisions to set you up for the day. The bedrooms are typical of a city hotel, so relatively small but well appointed, everything worked and showers were good and plenty of clothes... More

Perfectly located hotel with very helpful staff at reception. Rooms are clean and well maintained as well as being quite comfortable. Also surprisingly quiet room for such a centrally located hotel during a busy weekend.

Not much to say about this affordable but not really surprising hotel. Clean and quite large rooms with good bathroom but basic comfort. Good beds which is important !! Airco properly functioning. Basic breakfast, limited choice, French style. Good option if it is for a few nights, just passing through. Electricity dropouts, wifi is quite weak...

Stayed one night in this very central hotel. Had to change rooms as the first one smelt of smoke. Moved to the 5th floor - reception staff were very helpful - room was fine. It's noisy in the streets at night but it was mid summer and the windows were open. Didn't stay for breakfast.
