Can't fault anything, we enjoyed our stay, breakfasts were very good, rooms very comfortable, bed, heating, linens all very very good. Spotlessly clean. Rebeca on reception was very friendly & helpful. Would recommend even though a little out of town it was worth the walk.

Stayed here for several nights for a conference nearby. Staff was very friendly and helpful, good English skils. Room was very clean and well-kept, minibar prices fair. Some problems with air-condition, but could also be due to not just being able to operate the system myself. No prob, since the room had spacious openable windows and traffic outside at night...

My first visit to Girona was made memorable by my stay at this hotel. From the railway station the hotel is a direct 20 minute walk or a 5 minute trip on the bus. The hotel is next door to my favourite department store in Spain, El Corte Ingles, meaning I could drop in to the supermarket any time for...

The hotel met our expectations. The room was spacious and the breakfast choice was extensive. The staff were efficient, even if some found it difficult to raise a smile. One member of staff was very helpful and solicitous when he discovered my wife was not well. It is a reasonable walk into town. Our only complaint is that the bar...

Only 2.75 euro bus ride from Girona airport to hotel. Nespresso machine in reception (nice touch), set menu in beautiful restaurant only 16 euros, very quiet (you don't hear doors banging) and superb breakfast. Only 15 minute walk to Girona town centre. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough and I'm very fussy.

The Melia Hotel was excellent, the staff were superb with nothing too much trouble especially Anna, Rebeca and the young barman/ waiter who were very friendly and helpful. Partner received a card and Birthday cake as courtesy which was a lovely thoughtful gesture. Facilities especially the sauna and Jacuzzi were wonderfully relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Bedrooms lovely and...

Next to El Corte Ingles, but otherwise not in the center of the more interesting area, the Melia Girona was a fine place to stay while exploring or doing things in the area. Positives: The service is both a huge positive and also a negative. It is positive in that each person with whom I dealt was very pleasant and...

We were staying here as a family in a little while ago as part of a driving trip from Paris to Marbella and stopped in Girona for the night. As hotels go, the Melia is a well known quantity and it didn't disappoint. More important is how they reacted the morning my wife woke up with a medical emergency (acute...

We went to this hotel for a day. Kind staff, clean room and bath. 15 min to walk old Town. Near to big shopping center. If you decide to stay there, i insistly suggest that you go to an Italian restaurant just a few minutes to walk

It is not a bad hotel, but the interior and rooms are of an old style. The access to the main entrance is difficult as there a few stairs with no ramp to roll your luggage. Breakfast is average and you need a taxi or a bus to get to the city center.
