I was delighted with this hotel from the minute I walked through the door.
The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable and a variety of complimentary toiletries were available in the bathroom which got restocked. The power shower was also great!
The bedroom also had a small fridge with complimentary water in it.
Outside there is a pool area and jacuzzi and a small bar is inside.
One room near the entrance had been turned into a library where you can leave and take unwanted books.
Everyday from 3pm, they serve coffee and pastries in the lounge area.
The board is bed and breakfast and this is where I cannot praise it enough! The quality and quantity of the food was sublime.
Hot and cold meats, breads, crumpets, beans, hash browns, fruits, yogurts and individual daily dishes! Cava, juices etc daily.
I stay in different places a lot and for the allocated stars, it has been one of the best!
Every single member of staff who we came into contact with, kitchen, reception and cleaners, were so friendly and could not do enough for you.
Thanks guys, you are a credit! 👍

Yet another excellent stay at the wonderful Galeon hotel . Amazing facilities for such a small three star hotel and impeccable service from the moment you arrive from the courteous and helpful man on Reception to the dedicated cleaning staff to the team who prepare and serve the stunning breakfast choice which is available until 12 noon , especially the hyper energetic and efficient Maria and Paula ? who supervises the whole breakfast operation . This time we stayed in room 411 with a double balcony , awning and sunbeds so we were able to spend time up there as well as round the pool . Pastries and coffee still provided at 3pm each day with cold lemon drink available during the day near Reception. Pool/beach towels can be rented for a 20 euro returnable fee and changed daily. It would be good if it was possible to extend this arrangement to towelling robes which could perhaps be rented for the duration of your holiday even at a non refundable cost. Cleaning of rooms exemplary with bedding and towels changed regularly, bottled water provided daily and quality toiletries also provided. Free in room safe. Yes, furnishings could perhaps be updated in the communal area but this in no way distracts from the service and value for money that the Galeon offers nor its prime location close to the beach, bars and restaurants as well as the bus and rail services. As an aside first time we have flown into Reus. Brilliant. Never want to fly into Barcelona El Prat again !! Looking forward to yet another return visit next year.

Its been 8 years since I have stopped here and it was a fantastic visit, despite being during the covid pandemic.
I stopped in a balcony room in the main building, plenty of space fantastic shower and moderately sized fridge with free bottles of water, kettle and safe.
The pool area is fantastic and quiet. Great sun trap too. The area was kept safe by an enforced maximum capacity, there was regular cleaning throughout the hotel observed which was good to see.
I'll be back again soon once its safe to do so! Thanks Galeon!

Back once again in our favourite holiday hotel . Been coming for 6 years now and still as good as ever from all of the team in the dining room ( especially Maria and Paula) the staff at Reception and the hard working cleaning staff . We stayed in the main hotel with a balcony overlooking the pool . Although the whole hotel could probably do with some updating the current furbishments are part of the charm . Bedroom and shower room really well appointed with bedding changed regularly, large bath towels, toiletries, tea and coffee and bottled water daily . Housekeeping was exemplary . Breakfast still first class with amazing choice including freshly cooked egg dishes and cava and wine included and of course available until 12 noon each day . Pastries and coffee available every day between 3- 5pm . Really appreciated my daughter and partner being able to join us one morning at breakfast as our guests . Only one slight observation . Although it did not detract from our stay perhaps the pool area would benefit from some updated tables and chairs .
Can’t wait to return next year.

We stayed at the hotel based on the reviews on Tripadvsor. We booked through a package deal so I don't know if you would get a better deal by booking directly, but this hotel was clean, very comfortable and conveniently located (about a 2 minute walk from the train station).

Room size was more than adequate with a huge bed (a double and single together), built in wardrobe with plenty of hanging space and, a free safe security box which was used to keep our passports and money safely tucked away. The shower... the shower was the best I have ever experiences, jets everywhere and great pressure!

Then there was the breakfast choices! Unlimited coffees, juices, water, cereals, fruits, meats and cheeses, pastries and cakes, sausages, bacon, hash browns, beans the lot! Although the food is a buffet style (help yourself), the staff do come to your table to ask what type of eggs you wanted; scrambled, fried, poached etc. Incredible value for just the breakfast alone!

The reception staff were really polite and helpful as well. A fantastic hotel and will absolutely be staying here again. highly recommended!

Does what it says on the tin.You should not be disappointed.
Really enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Galeon.
Although there are few frills in this 3 star hotel, everything was done well.
All the staff: Reception, waiting staff at breakfast, and the cleaners were friendly and helpful. As others have commented breakfast is great, especially as it runs until noon.
Although no 'views' the location is quite acceptable, toward the back of the town, but only a 5 to 10 min stroll to the beach and a short walk to the railway station.
We stayed in the adjacent annex building, everything was clean and worked, albeit a little aged. Our bed was two doubles joined together, could of slept 6 or more, and perhaps it has in times previous. ;-)

This traditional small hotel in the centre of Sitges provides a comfortable place to stay at a great price. I booked a superior room directly through the hotel website and was delighted to be given a third floor room in the Pavilion annex. Whilst this is in a separate building, it is a very short walk to access the main hotel via the back gate.

The rooms are equipped with a small fridge, flat screen TV (mainly Spanish channels), good wifi - and even a kettle which is unusual for Spanish hotels. As it was on the third floor it benefitted from a large roof terrace which was in the sun most of the day and early evening. Fantastic housekeeping each day, with any wet towels replaced and floors mopped. A really comfy bed as well.

As many reviewers have noted, the breakfast buffet is abundant and being served until 12 means you can indulge in a few late nights and still get fed in the morning.

A nice touch was the offer of a welcome glass of cava on the roof terrace at sister hotel Platjador on the seafront.

This may not be the most modern hotel in Sitges, but the traditional style is warm and welcoming - as are the staff who are happy to help with any query.

Given its age, it is little surprise that the only plug sockets are by the desk/dressing table. If you want to have your phone by the bed bring an extra long lead. Mine was three metres long and that was still not enough - but I managed. I doesn't deter me from staying again.

We stayed four nights at Hotel Galeon. The hotel is ideally situated in the historic district of Sitges, 5 minute walk from the train station and a 5 minute walk to the beach. When I called the hotel to make a reservation, they took down all my info. When I called back because I received no email confirmation, they assured me they had the reservation. When we arrived, they could not find the reservation. Fortunately, they had rooms available.

The strengths of the hotel are the great location and the varied plentiful breakfasts. They also serve lemonade, coffee, and pastries in the afternoon until 6 PM. Nice perk!

The rooms are small but quiet and clean. The shower very nice with good pressure. The bed was comfortable.

The hotel as a whole is in need of some renovation. While we were there, a leg of our bed broke off. Fortunately we were not in the bed when it happened. They staff graciously acted quickly and replaced the bed. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. It is a very good value.

We stayed here again recently during Carnival. The hotel is a short walk to the centre of Sitges. Rooms were clean and tidy and adequate. Some TLC is needed, lose cables around the TV, lack of sockets in the room and poor lighting. But other than that we really enjoyed our stay. The bed was comfortable and bathroom modern. The breakfast is one of the best outside of Ireland... ;) And served to 12pm... Great!!! Staff very friendly and helpful

Have stayed here many a times and always found it to be to the standards it should be for a 3 star hotel, situated in prime location within easy walking distance from the beaches.
Swimming pool and jacuzzi are both lovely for a chilled day, however it does get very busy and please note they don’t have lots of sun beds.
The rooms are clean and spacious, we did however ask for a pool view and got a view of a roof, not the end of the world, as it was nice and quiet compared to our friends room which was overlooking the Main Street.
The breakfast is plentiful and has everything you could think of, this is one of the many reasons why we keep coming back to the hotel, it is also served from 8-12 and never seemed to be overly busy when going down at around 9:30.
The gentleman on reception was very polite and you would always get a warm welcome after a day out.
Looking forward to coming back very soon.

Yes it’s close to plenty of places to eat. While it’s back away from the centre of town it’s only a five minute walk to the beach promenade. I recommend the airport bus, the stop is only a five minute walk from the hotel.

Hi!! The nearest bus stop is called "Can Robert" and is located 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Just below the train bridge.
