Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The hotel is a small hotel, close to a fabulous beach. It is a bus journey away from Tarragona and it is located next to a busy road. Bus stops are located close to the hotel and a taxi from Tarragona bus station is about €15. It is spotlessly clean. The staff are very friendly and very willing to help out in whatever way they can. There is a cafe/bar in the hotel which serves drinks and snacks. It is very reasonably priced and the coffee and pastries are very nice. We had a room on the top floor with a balcony at the end of the building. The rooms were very quiet and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel has no pool, but a fantastic beach is located about a two minute walk from the hotel.

Room Tip: There is a car park at the back of the hotel, I think it’s complimentary for hotel guests.

This survivor of mid century design is a hidden gem. Reception were extremely helpful as we checked in giving us maps of the area and recommending things to see and do. Our room had a balcony overlooking the sea which caught the sun perfectly. The beds were the most comfortable I’ve experienced in a hotel for many years. After breakfast served by delightful staff a five minute walk has you on a clean natural beach with shallow seas filled with friendly fish. People take bread to feed them. One special member of staff is the elderly barman who has been there for forty six years.

Situated between the main road and railway we did not find it too noisy. Good and plentiful free parking. Our bedroom was on floor 2 and the bathroom was a contender for the "smallest" in Tarragona. Breakfasts continental style were plentiful and decent quality. No pool or restaurant. The "coffee shop" does not function like those of a similar name in most places. The hosts are welcoming.

Wonderful hotel with a very helpful staff and a excellent location. Only a ten minute drive from Old City Tarragona, as well as a short walk to the beach, and our hotel room had a fantastic view. Domingo was an excellent bartender and very helpful. This hotel is an old building but very, very clean and well kept rooms. We will stay here again!

Location near the beach. View of beach/sea but not front line. Private free parking behind the hotel then either enter from the back but you'll have to go up some steps as there's no lift until the next floor or walk around the side of the hotel and up a slight incline Room had a safe, hair dryer but no drink making facilities. The ensuite had complimentary shampoo and shower gel Breakfast was brought to your table and consisted of a half baguette, croissant and jams,a yogurt and coffee Lovely staff. Very clean hotel. Bus stop across the road to the old town.

We stayed for just two nights on our road trip from Barcelona to Valencia. Between busy city breaks, this was a gem of a find. Other reviews called the hotel dated, I call it quality retro. We chose not to have a Seaview room but the view did look lovely. Roadside was fine for us with very little noise. Breakfast was great value and served with a smile. everything was clean, peaceful and very well maintained, it took me back to an era of refined customer service. A lovely stretch of golden sand beach, with a bar cafe, was just a few minutes walk down the hill, with a naturist section at the Northern end. We would definitely stay again.

This hotel is located near the beach outside of Tarragona and not far from the Motorway. However, it is also located between a major road (N-340) and a railway line. Obviously, this is a noisy place. Car parking is next to the hotel but it is extremely difficult to get from the car park to the front desk. A major staircase is the only way to haul your luggage up to the check-in desk. Naturally , no help is available for moving large or heavy cases. Remote for the Air Conditioned was given upon check-in (this never happened to us before in any hotel). The rooms are large enough but the fixtures are old. The rooms are clean, but cold. The bathroom is old and in need of complete redesign. For example, there is no place to put the toiletry bag, so we had to put it inside the bidet; In summary, this is an old hotel in need of serious upgrading. This is a two star hotel pretending to be a three star hotel. It's not worth the daily rate (67€) On top of this, I attach a picture with Information about emergency evacuation map that was on the back of our door. Which entity gives this hotel the license permit, and allows them to display this photocopy, without even identifying the room, neither the emergency exits? Finally, their only recommendation for dinner is an expensive nearby restaurant. Quite unsuitable for what a traveler would want or need (which would be a cozy place with home made food).

The hotel is located near the beach, also a naturist beach at walking distance. Despite the hotel has a few years, our stay was very comfortable, with a nice balcony with a view of the ocean. There is also free parking on the premises. Staff was very friendly. The ocean facing rooms have the railroad tracks nearby but seems that there are no trains passing by at night, we managed to sleep without any problems.

As others have mentioned, the hotel is dated but for the money we paid we thought that it was good value. The room was very clean and well maintained. We had a balcony with a beautiful sea view and it is only a short walk to the beach. We had a car so were happy to have a secure place to park. It is a very short drive to the city center. The staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful, especially the gentleman in reception. Even though the hotel is very close to a train track we didn't have any problem with sleeping. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Sixties Hotel really close to the beach. Agree with most other reviewers. I had a couple of days here. Good parking, good breakfast. Domingo the barman was excellent. I liked Tarragona, but getting oil for the Beemer was not easy, closed on a Saturday. Off to the ferry in Barcelona. I'd stay again.
