Average hostel conveniently located in the city center. The room is very basic but was made everyday. You got what you paid: free wifi, hot showers, a bed. One evening I ate at Hotil Restaurant, I ordered fried caramare (squid) and green peppers, the food was soso.

So many bad reviews....What do people expect for £20 a night? Just a 5 minute walk from the beach and close to local land marks and bus stops its location is one of the hotels strong points. it is a nice hotel that is located directly in the centre of Coruna so obviously there is some noise during the busier... The octopus was spoiled; probably from days ago... the dishes dirty, we asked to change them and the second time were also dirty.... The barman was so rude when I went inside to ask to change the dishes... spanish omelette was raw. Definitely NEVER EVER WILL COME BACK. O polbo estaba podre, debia levar varios días e non o daban... Small single room. Shower head broken. Noisy. Had bite marks on me the next day. Only positive was when I left! Maybe not the very worst I have stayed in but very close. Hostal is in the heart of the tapas bars. The check in was easy.

We stayed one night in Hostal Hotil while visiting Coruna. It's very well located close to almost everything but acommodation is very basic, rooms are small and noisy, you can hear everything from the street and from other rooms. The WiFi pratically never worked from the room and we had to go to the lobby to use a different network.... More

The street below is very noisy at night, but i suppose that's what you get for staying in the city center. Prices are not shown anywhere on the walls or at reception, so just make sure they're telling you the correct price (quite a difference between the prices shown on the internet and the prices at reception). The room was... More

Can't find a more centrally located place. Staff is a bit slow though when checking in, rooms are fine although not enough light, bathrooms were wrongly built so there's a flood whenever showering which has left humidity stains - and being an allergic it wasn't so good. But decent place all in all.

I stayed here for two nights and it was well located, although I would have preferred to stay in the Ciudad Vieja. On arrival I was shown to a dismal, small, dark but clean single room which was not as selected from the photograph used on Booking.com, I expected a room with wooded beam, arch shaped ceiling, a very pretty... Stayed four nights in a first floor (second story for Americans) room that was small but very clean and comfortable. The young gent at check-in was always friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, and the showers were hot and strong. The room we reserved via the hostal's web site faced the street and when we checked in, we were... More
