Clean and good value for the single traveler and the weary pilgrim. Reception was very helpful indeed and professional. They couldn't have been more helpful. Very booked up but managed to get a room for the night. Book ahead as Santiago even in mid October is extremely busy with pilgrims and travelers alike.

I am rating the 12euro 3-course meal in the hostel restaurant that is open to the public. Our tour guide mentioned this place and my 80 year old mother and I tentatively sought it out. Note, we went twice. The first time they were 30 minutes late opening at 1.30 instead of 1 so wait by the menu which is...

The hotel was once a monastery and has plenty of character. The dining room has a beautiful vaulted ceiling and the cloisters and small garden are great for relaxing in. The staff at reception...

Whilst this hotel is visually very appealing, I honestly believe they use the tag of being a previous monastery, and subsequently keeping with the simple room theory, to their advantage. Considering the cost of a double room, to say they are very scarcely presented is an understatement. No tv (which didn't bother me in the least), no telephone, shocking wifi...
