This hotel is special and a very welcome retreat after walking the Camino de Santiago. The front desk staff is very accommodating. The restaurant on the second floor has an amazing breakfast buffet or you can order from the menu. The buffet is good and the food is fresh. They also serve the incredible pudding like hot chocolate! I upgraded...

Wow what a hotel. From the room to the reception every part of this place just feels(and is full of history). Apart from walking around the hotel part of this building you must take the time to explore every corner. Will definitely be staying here again.

This hotel is 5 star. We stayed here 2 nights. It's like being In a old castle. We walked around and found a chapel in the back and looking into the middle of the hotel are gardens with fountains and wells. We even received a free cd in our room. The cafe is great and the morning breakfast was unbelievable....

This is an absolute great hotel, on the square with the Cathedral, it has all the comforts of modern convenience plus the ambiance of the old, as with all the Paradors in Spain, great places to stay, the food was typically Spanish, good, the wine good, it's a convenient location

We are a family of six, and this was a perfect spot for our family. The location is terrific, the building is stunning and historical impressive. The breakfast was enough to keep us satisfied well into the day. The bathrooms are beautifully remodeled. Rooms are a blast to the past, but very comfortable. All in all a terrific experience.

Some people visit the hotel just to see the building. If you stay in make sure to dedicate some while to walk around the corridors, the four cloisters, the banquet rooms,... all populated with explanatory posters highlighting interesting or curious details. The rooms are also equipped in traditional style, with comfy bed, safe and wi-fi. Very professional service by all...

For one who absorbs history through the ambience of his surroundings as much as through the facts themselves, this is the place to be - in the centre of town and adjacent to the Cathedral. The very stones, the corridors, the furnishings make it a real delight. Of course, for those more interested in modern appointments, the weak wifi signal...
