Great location just off Gibs High Street. But quiet. Room size just adequate, on suite bath-shower, basin & WC. Fresh towels & room made up every day. Breakfast is in the garden room across the road, linked to the main hotel by a quaint, enclosed bridge off from the main lounge. Despite frequent gnawing sounds disturbing my first night (mice,... Stayed here whilst in Gibraltar on business for a few days however required to stay for 7 nights. Good value all round. The staff were very friendly, polite and keen to help. Well within walking distance of most things. Airport within 20 minutes, Main Street just out the front door and the cable car only 5 minutes away. Hotel was... More

If You look for a hotel in Gibraltar, the prices are extraordinary compared to Spain. Even more so, hotels with parking and swimming pool are so few. But don't jump for joy in case of Bristol Hotel. The price has its reason. This is a hotel with no investment since 1980s, I guess (apart from the elevator and the front... More

Good things. Location excellent ( though don't know about parking) as in town centre, rooms are spacious, beds comfy, shower hot and staff friendly and helpful. Bad, noise in external rooms, mosquitos, noisy air con, tired and very, very dated decor, breakfast ( continental) worst I have had in a long time. Avoid unless you get a very good price... More

Great location just off the main strip, parking although limited is right outside the hotel which is really handy. Breakfast seems a bit dear at £6 for a continental breakfast when full English are available at £4 two minutes away. Room is small and smells heavy of air freshener! Overall good for a short stay.

The Bristol is stuck in a time warp. It does need updating but the bedding was clean, the towels good and the shower hot. We had a huge room. Breakfast could be better. It wouldn't take much to provide nice fresh rolls instead of sliced bread, or real coffee instead of instant. Drinks and snacks available from vending machines. Good... More

Just got back from the Bristol, if you want 5* then I suggest you stump up and pay for it... The hotel needs updating admitted, although it's got everything you'll need.. I would recommend having a breakfast out as there are some lovely places to eat.. Gib is a great place to checkout for the weekend!!

You can tell that this hotel used to be a great hotel, however it does not deserve its high price tag anymore. While they have lifts, there is no point in using them because no matter what floor your room is you'll have plenty of stairs to climb and narrow, dark, winding corridors to navigate afterwards. I have large hands... More
