Friendly staf. Clean room. And a safe. Basic, but all what you need. Good Wifi. With a Michelin-recommended mostly seafood-restaurant across the street. And a very good and inexpensive restaurant PUBLIC around the corner.

Located just a 5 minute walk from Callo, 8 minute walk from Tribunal and about 12 minutes from Sol metro stations, you really couldn't get a more central location for the the price. Check In was simple and from 1pm which is great. The room was small, but clean and tidy. No tea/coffee making facilities, but not essential when there is a cafe on every corner in Madrid. The street it is on is known to have prostitutes and once you're aware, then you're grand. It's not sleazy and not hugely uncomfortable. It would not stop me from staying here again. I was able to leave my luggage in a secure luggage room, and hang out in the comfortable lobby until it was time to head for the airport.

I arrived here for a 2 night stay just to watch the football with my son 8 and stepson 16 on arrival the first thing I noticed is that the hotel is in a grubby little back street with which looks daunting as the taxi pulled up outside I noticed several " ladies of the night" hanging around , as we entered the hotel I realised the massive difference between inside and outside it was clean and smelt fresh the room was a good sized triple which was also very clean , we had no issue with the hotel or staff itself opposite the hotel is a nice little bar called wild pig we had great pizza and the beer was nice and cold .

My room was clean, had private bathroom and safe but no balcony. Its location and price are not bad. They close the front door during the night and you have to ring the bell. Morning receptionist seemed to be annoyed when you ask questions.

Don’t worry about not speaking Spanish. Everyone in the world speaks English including the guys at this hotel. I had a room with a balcony but you may need to ask. Mind you, there is no view whatsoever unless you like looking at cheap ladies of the day and night! I hope you have comers see the city as opposed to the hotel. It’s nice but nothing special. Booking in time I think was after midday but they will hold your bag whatever time you arrive. No parking facility whatsoever. Just find a car park nearby. I suggest you use google maps before arriving. This hotel is in a back street although quite close to the metro so a good location.
