I went to this hotel for a city break. The rooms were clean and well presented, however were a little cramped. My room was based on 3 adults sharing and with 3 single beds in the room full access to the worderobe was restricted. The staff however were very helpful and welcoming and made a few phone calls on our...

The location was good and not great. First We check in at Leonardo Boutique Hotel, 5 blocks north from Leonardo City Center. We woke up the 7am with workers on the street. It was horrible. So they moved us to Leonard City Center. The girl who agreed to get us a room, gave us a room on the second floor...

Good central location, next to two metro lines, simple but nice rooms, friendly service. The main problem was the noise: rooms are quite badly insulated and you can hear everything what's going on in the hallway or the rooms next to yours. If you want to sleep in in the morning, good luck because you'll hear all the guests neighbouring...

The room was neat and clean, spacious for Europe, nice wood floors, excellent lighting and warm. The bathroom was outstanding, especially for Europe. The staff was very welcoming and an excellent continental breakfast was provided daily. The hotel is very centrally located to most of the major attractions and metro.

We stayed for six nights in mid October. The hotel is very well located, the staff was friendly, the room comfortable (we had twin beds instead of a double one but perhaps it was our mistake that we didn't think of asking for a double bed). The breakfast is excellent, it offered fresh vegetables, gluten free products, and a lot...

The hotel is located on a busy street but the soundproofing is really good so you can actually sleep at night. The rooms are spacious enough and generally clean, though there was some dust in the corners. WiFi is good and even enough for video streaming. Breakfast was really good (Serrano, Chorizo, Manchego cheese, etc.) but unfortunately (for me at...

Staying in Chamberi

Neighbourhood Profile
Multi-story residential buildings decorated with ornate balconies line the traditional, quiet, and pretty streets of Chamberí. Humble storefronts and neighbourhood taverns are scattered across the lower levels down every block, and here and there, there's a cluster of tables on the sidewalk. It isn't ever crowded, but people are always out, poking into the tiny bakeries, hardware stores, and tobacco shops, or ducking into a bright, unadorned cerveceria to have a coffee or beer by the bar, flip through the paper, and check the sports score. The round Plaza Olavide, where the fairly regular network of streets breaks form, is among the most green and lively spots. Restaurants line its circumference and sought-after outdoor tables fill the center of the plaza, where people relax to the sounds of kids playing and street musicians' tunes.
