We stayed in this hotel for five nights during Xmas holidays. The hotel is located right next to famous Retiro park. All the major tourist attractions are at half an hour walk. There is a metro station around 100 meters away which makes this hotel an ideal place to stay for city break. The breakfast is quite decent and of...

We have just spent a very nice 3night break at the H10 hotel. There are renovations going on but didn't really affect our stay. We were given a recently refurbished room with a lovely view of the city on the 6th floor. Very clean and comfortable bed nice bed linen and towels. My only complaint really is that they had...

Our stay in this hotel was excellent, despite they are now carrying out repairs in several areas of the hotel. Very clean room, excellent service and kind personnel. Even tough the hotel is in a central area, near the Retiro Park and very convenient to go downtown (a subway station is 200 metres from the hotel), the room was quiet....

My wife and I recently spent a week at the H10. It had an excellent location near Retiro Park and was very convenient for the metro and for seeing the main sights of Madrid. Our room was comfortable, clean and well maintained. Also, the room was quiet despite being on the first floor and overlooking a busy road. Breakfast was...

The hotel was making several internal repairs and for this reason, my experience wasn't the best. However, the room was quite average and I wouldn't recomend the breakfast. The front desk wasn0t very friendly and he didn't provide me a late check out. I request just one additional hour. The location is very good and has several good restaurants near...

Very well located, perfect for a walk to Retiro Park, see the Puerta de Alcala, Plaza de Cibeles, go to: the Prado Museum, the Royal Botanic Gardens, the Puerta del Sol or Gran Vía, among other places. Breakfast is correct.

Don't expect a lot here. Very basic rooms and zero service. AC was broken at 35C outside and didn't get fixed over days. Upon checkout, the service shrugs shoulders, "ah well". Nobody here cares. Get an Airbnb instead, which will run at half he cost.

Stayed here with my wife while on business. This is a great place to stay. Located near parks, GREAT food, the subway and shopping. This place is almost perfect. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were great and the beds comfortable. Loved the place and would stay here again.

Our short stay in Madrid was made a lot more pleasurable after booking this hotel. Just what we needed as a base. Clean, stylish, modern room with efficient quick check in. We had a room facing the road which did not cause any problems with noise. We liked it so much we will look for other hotels in the chain...

Staying in Barrio de Salamanca

Neighbourhood Profile
Barrio de Salamanca
Broad, tree-lined avenues with pretty streetlights frame the neighbourhood of Barrio Salamanca. With beautiful condominium buildings that make up most blocks in this area, this part of town is refined and quiet. It is also host to a few of the city's large shopping avenues, including Calle Serrano and Calle Jose Ortega y Gasset. A walk down these streets will reveal upscale chains, small boutiques, and plenty of opportunities for shopping or checking out the stylish displays. The locals here are polished and fashionable, the atmosphere is leisurely, and the lush Retiro Park on the southern border is yet another opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. A stroll through Barrio Salamanca is all about admiring the beautiful architecture, window-shopping, and people-watching in this upper-crust corner of Madrid.
