I was in Madrid and needed to be in the old city center. This hotel is walking distance from Puerto del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Mercado de San Miguel, Prado Museum, and Thyssen Bornemisza, Museo de Jamon and Parque Retiro. For the price I paid, I got a suite separate bedroom from living room, a large bathroom with bidet and free...

We stayed over a weekend just before Christmas. The rooms were clean and fresh but we had some issues with the warm water running out on one evening. Our neighbouring room housed a family which we could hear a bit too clearly through the walls. The kitchenette didn't get too much use but it was great to have the option...

First of all thank you for your confidence and your time with us. The rooms have triple climalit and walls of approximately 30 centimeters. We always try to maintain order both inside and outside our establishment to improve the rest and comfort of our customers. We hope the rest of the services were pleasant and we hope to see you...

When we arrived to the hotel it didn't appear much, but since the start the welcome was very kind. The room was very very nice. So big and nice, much better than the pictures on the web, where in general pictures as nice that the real place. At every time they were very friendly and happy to help. A very...

Loved the location You are in the real heart of old Madrid with everything in easy walking distance and we never used public transport other than underground Metro from airport to Sevilla station which was really easy and only 5 euros Apartment 104 was great Very spacious, great beds and good power shower, kitchen small and basic but we only...

We stayed in an attic room, which gave us huge amounts of space and was well away from street noise, There was a small kitchen area with fridge, where you could cook a meal if you wanted, although I don't know why you would with so many bars and restaurants in the area. Large wardrobe with plenty of shelves and...

Doubting between a 3 and 4 rating. The location of this place is so excellent, that it does merit 4. It's right in between the old town and the museum quarter; a bit noisy maybe but that's city centre for you. You can walk to beautiful Plaza Santa Ana, Sol and Plaza Mayor. And to the Prado Museum, Reina Sofia...

Thank you for staying with us. Attics are one of the rooms more chosen by our regular customers and have a wooden floor with less than 3 years old. The kitchens are renovated to modernize even though both of his were in perfect condition. The juice is served in a glass of water or juice no wine. And our category...

We stayed 4 nights and had reserved room with twin beds. Our room was actually 2 rooms complete with kitchenette! Nice bathroom with rain-shower. Our room had two huge doors with windows that opened out to street. That particular room is very noisy starting around 11pm until early hours (one morning was until 6:10 loud drunk singing) perhaps futbol celebrations....

At this location we never needed a cab. You can walk in a reasonable amount of time nearly anywhere. The hotel has only 16 rooms. The staff is therefore always available to you. The breakfast is pretty standard. It is delivered to your room at a time you choose. It includes orange juice, coffee or tea, croissants, jams, butter, and...

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel room was a little bit out dated. Only one of each set of electrical sockets worked which already had a lamp plugged in. We stayed in room 102 on the corner near some bars. It was pretty noisy until about 4:30 in the morning. We only stayed one night, so...

Thanks for your time with us. I regret that the street were noisy that night. The room 102 is the cooperation could not be considered as antiquated and that is why you can have doubts when the lamps are modern and have some less standard rhythms mechanism. I inform you that it is never too late to inform reception of...

Staying in Huertas

Neighbourhood Profile
Huertas
Also known as Barrio de las Letras, Huertas was once home to prominent literary figures, Miguel de Cervantes and Lope de Vega among them. The neighbourhood is committed to celebrating its rich heritage: Calle Huertas itself is inlaid with quotes from celebrated authors, street names pay homage to them, and second-hand bookshops pervade. Huertas receives a fair amount of spillover from the center — side streets around Plaza Santa Ana take on a foreign party atmosphere at night, and you always see young backpackers navigating the streets — but as you descend into the neighbourhood, everything becomes a little more cramped and slightly less refined, and takes on more of an underground feel. Live music is at the heart of Huertas: by night, its subdued bars are ideal for meeting friends, sipping cocktails, and chatting quietly while enjoying jazz or singer-songwriter performances.
