Great place to stay at when in Madrid. This hotel is located in the poshest Madrid area. Everything that is gorgeous about Madrid is within walking distance. The bedrooms are just right (not too big, not too small). I will definitely return!

This hotel is located in one of the nicest neighborhoods in Madrid (Barrio Salamanca). Just a few blocks away from Calle Serrano and within walking distance or quick subway trip of all the sites. The price is pretty good and the rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff is very helpful as well. Will definitely come again.

Stayed here for 5 nights on a business trip, and had a great time. The hotel is in a very central location, situated in a residential building block. The hotel is on the 5th floor. Very nice, clean and safe hotel, maids were in every day tidying up. I had breakfast here on 3 occasions, which was a good price...

Thankfully ours was only a one night stay. The situation is good, the beds were quite comfortable and the breakfast was ok. But the hygiene left a lot to be desired ( when we arrived and needed to use the loo, there was some faeces on the toilet seat. It was disgusting. We immediately complained and they cleaned the bathroom...

Good value for money but lacks atmosphere. Rooms very basic, it almost seems like some of the furniture was missing and that is coming from a gal who hates clutter. Luke warm water in the shower for the first five minutes, the staff at breakfast couldn't look more disinterested... That being said for a budget hotel it wasn't bad.

Breakfast is decent and tasty. No noise whatsoever. You can sleep safe and sound there. Internet is tremendous although it does not reach the rooms, just the lobby. The staff is competent and friendly. The receptionist can also speak english a bit. The bathrooms are shining with cleanliness. There's a vending machine also. Lobby is cozy at night.

I stayed for three nights while visiting Madrid with my mother. It is close to metro stops, restaurants, Corte Ingles, and coffee shops. The place is very clean and comfy, the staff is helpful and attentive. You'll get rest at night because there aren't any bars around.

I had cause to use this hotel as my normal apartment could not be used due to decoration. This hotel is on the upper floors of a residential building excellently situated close Madrid centre and various Metro and bus routes. Access to/from airport is relatively painless with one change. Rooms basically decorated and furnished but that is reflected in the...

Went here with a group of students twice. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. Located in a nice area and close to public transportation. It's not a luxurious hotel by any means, but if you're looking for a place that is clean and reasonably priced, I'd recommend it. The only complaint I'd have...

Staying in Barrio de Salamanca

Neighbourhood Profile
Barrio de Salamanca
Broad, tree-lined avenues with pretty streetlights frame the neighbourhood of Barrio Salamanca. With beautiful condominium buildings that make up most blocks in this area, this part of town is refined and quiet. It is also host to a few of the city's large shopping avenues, including Calle Serrano and Calle Jose Ortega y Gasset. A walk down these streets will reveal upscale chains, small boutiques, and plenty of opportunities for shopping or checking out the stylish displays. The locals here are polished and fashionable, the atmosphere is leisurely, and the lush Retiro Park on the southern border is yet another opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. A stroll through Barrio Salamanca is all about admiring the beautiful architecture, window-shopping, and people-watching in this upper-crust corner of Madrid.
